Except that this is a misspelling of "beignet"- not a variant, it is just plain wrong! It is tough enough to guess the Crystal Ball word (including all the variants) without having to imagine misspellings, as well!

Might as well note the typo in the text about confectioners' sugar, as well- a " was used for the possessive apostrophe, rather than a ' .
