Hey guys, I am looking for a really good rack mount guitar processor. One that has a lot of good original programs and room for more. Lots of good wide stereo clean and distorted sounds. Preprogramed "band names" would be cool. Foot pedal adaptable cool too. I am a single artist so anything easy would help. I would like to hear of any suggestions any of you guys have. I'm not asking for advertisment, just thoughts! I hope that's cool!

Hi nini,

I am a closet rock/blues guitarist and would suggest, depending on what you want to spend, looking at Roland and ZOOM products. I have a number of Roland products I paid though the nose for (amps and effects), but they have never let me down and sound great. I have also tested a number of ZOOM products some of my friends use and I found them easy to use, intuitive, and from what I understand, pretty inexpensive.

I do not follow the accessory industry like I used to, but I think these two brands may be a good place to start your search.

Boosch.

Finally someone who could help you...I was wondering!
I'm not the guitarist in the family though...
but here's an unsollicited plug for Roland...I had a keyboard I bought with the weighted keys, felt just like a real piano, and then I played it for ten years and it was one of the best buys I ever made...really dependable.
I sold it at a major loss to a "good home" though...someone who didn't care about the boomchickchicka stuff but just the feel and the sound of a basic keyboard.
I have a Technics now, does a lot more stuff, but that Roland was a sweet little piano.
