HairyBear Mainstay Registered: Fri Sep 01 2006 Posts: 711 Loc: Florida USA	I'd like to suggest a readjustment of the team divisions, specifically by changing the dividing line between small teams and medium/large teams. This month, there are only 26 medium/large teams competing, down from 44 or more five years ago. The dividing line at the moment is 30 active members. Dropping that number down to 26 actives (leaving 25 and under as small teams) would scoop up 12 more teams into the medium/large team category, going by this week's stats. That would increase the number of teams in the medium/large division from 26 to 38. I think this is necessary for competitive purposes. Only 73 gold members played the Daily World Quiz yesterday from the medium/large team division. The people in those borderline teams who would end up being shifted over obviously will have something to say about this. Yay or nay?

WesleyCrusher Administrator Registered: Thu Sep 04 2008 Posts: 7583 Loc: Germany	Your idea might cause fewer teams to move over than you think - I know there is at least one team (and likely multiples) who actually actively adjust their membership numbers to stay under the threshold. I have an idea for divisions that would work differently, but it will mean some more work than just adjusting a player count.
