My Easy Daily Challenge was to score 1050 points in Who's the Expert.
My Medium Daily Challenge was to score 2480 points on a Fun Trivia Challenge.
My Hard Daily Challenge was to defeat_______ in Who's the Expert, only your first four plays of the day count

I played my Who's the Expert game at about 10 minutes after midnight Fun Trivia time.
The Daily Challenge page counted my Easy Score yet did not register my Hard score for the same game.

When I posted this on the Chat Board with a New Topic, it said that they were ignoring my post because it had already been posted.

How?

What is going on here?

You need to wait until you have actually been assigned an opponent. Otherwise your play will not count. This is to make scores comparable - if this were not the case, you could play an easy topic your opponent never gets a chance at because they only got the challenge after the hour changes.

The play did not count against your four attempts either, so you can play now.

The Chat Board didn't accept your query because there is already a thread with the title, 'Daily Challenges'.

When I first saw the Hard Challenge, a Nemesis had already been selected, however I played the game before I looked at the Daily Challenges.

That doesn't work for this particular challenge. You had not been paired (in fact the game had not even selected your challenegs yet), so that play didn't count.

Today I had an epic challenge where I was supposed to rank in the one of the top two positions in 4 different hourly games. I had done this in 3 different games and then won my division of "fill in the blank". The "fill in the blank" score was not counted. I appreciate that "fill in the blank" is no longer played on the hour, but despite that, for other daily challenges it has been counted as an hourly game. If this has now been changed, shouldn't we be informed? Also, if it counts in some daily challenges as an hourly game, shouldn't it be counted in all of them (until it is no longer considered an hourly game)?

Another puzzling thing is that for other daily challenges that want me to play hourly games, the games that will be counted are listed. It would be nice if in this case the games were listed as well.

I will try other games, but it was frustrating.

I agree with this message. Some challenges include non-hourly reset games and others don't in spite of the task stating hourly games. Why not just have the 'hourly' challenges count any game that is reset at 6 hours or less? This would include everything outside of the Global Challenge and the Daily Games.

I have the *easy* challenge of playing two new quizzes that have been added today, bit not by FT Bot. As of time of posting they've only been by the Bot. So fingers crossed for a flurry of new quizzes over the next few hours or the challenge was a little unfair.

I have a question about Daily Challenges...

When it comes to Epics, each one has three flags that can be earned. Once those three flags are earned, does that type of challenge no longer come up? I would assume they would no longer be in circulation once you've collected your last flag.

The Epics do still appear. If you complete one, the number of challenges completed increases and you get the 6 credits, but the flags and badge don't change. I have 48 completed Epics and I'm sure other players will have many more.

My Difficult challenge is to score 7/10 in all four International Hourly games. The link displays a blank page. I think this relates to an old game that had UK/US/Canada/ANZ variants but no longer exists.

That's strange. My medium difficulty challenge today was "Play the Easy Game and score 10/10 within 36.0 seconds".

I did it in just under 34 seconds but I haven't been credited with completion.

I didn't check my daily challenges until after playing the easy game, but that shouldn't matter, right?

I'm not really bothered, I just thought I'd let you know about the bug.

Several of the Daily Challenges don't look backward, at what you've already done. I believe that's true of all the hourlies, but not the dailies. I encountered the same thing with Obscurity, the other day. I had already done what was asked, before checking, but it didn't count, so I had to do it again.

I hate to bother over a small matter but my easy challenge was to play a quiz who's title begins with the letter I, and score at least 3 correct. I played the quiz Independence Day based on the same titled movie and scored a 9 out of 10, but didn't get credit. Any reason why?

Did the quiz title have the movie titles in quotes? If so, the I was not the first character in the title. (Three of the four I see in that category do start with ", and would not qualify.)

Nope. I played the one that had no quote marks in the title.

I noticed the title starts with a leading space. It is quite hard to spot such an error, but try hovering your cursor over the title until the title gets underlined.

The quotation marks need to stay for a couple of those titles, but I've amended one so it doesn't need them and gotten rid of the leading space from the other. Thanks for spotting that JanIQ!
