Hello, there seems to be a real issue going on here in TRIC. The changeover was supposed to be on May 18, so I switched rooms to be in the one that I wanted before the change happened. Then I saw that the X room had changed, even though my time stamp says

You have not met this requirement since you arrived here May 17 19 10:49 PM, 0 days ago.

So in other words, it is still May 17 in FunTrivia Time, but it rolled over to the next day already in TRIC, and the rooms changed over.

This isn't a minor issue because now the quiz I was working on won't get any points as the categories have all changed.

When you are planning a quiz for a specific TRIC challenge, it is a good idea to to there and stay there. Then you don't have to worry about any changes. I sat in one for a couple of months, getting my act together to write the quiz. TRIC categories change manually, and are not at exactly midnight FT time.

I'm the issue.

Every TRIC round is flipped manually, by me, biweekly. Unfortunately, on some occasions, I have to switch early or, otherwise, risk not being able to switch anything for about twelve hours depending on my schedule. Since it's currently a long weekend in Canada (and I work during those), I had to swap it. Some rounds have a few extra hours; some have a little less.

I recommend being cautious with your time. Waiting until zero hour to make a decision is treacherous planning with most timed FT games and, in my opinion, life in general. For people who invest a good amount of time in TRIC, there are absolutely tactics and strategies that can be taken round by round to maximize points based on your knowledge of the queues.
