This is as close as I could get to the centre of Bristol. All the roads I could find on the right heading in were closed (this car is coming out which appears the only way allowed) and I didn't have time to fiddle around for ages looking for a diversion which wasn't shown.

I like how this picture worked out (though I must admit I can't claim much credit). It reminds me of old postcards.

Here is the view from the top of Mither Tap, looking down to the Don valley.

I am guessing the main reason there are so many wires on one pole is it combines electricity at the top and phone lines on the rest of the pole. You can mainly tell as the electric terminals have insulators on and the others are woven in radial patterns without them.

I was cycling along and noticed some bees buzzing around. I soon came across this swarm of bees in a hedgerow bordering the cycle-path. I gave it the widest birth possible but got close enough to take the photo.
