This is as close as I could get to the centre of Bristol. All the roads I could find on the right heading in were closed (this car is coming out which appears the only way allowed) and I didn't have time to fiddle around for ages looking for a diversion which wasn't shown.

I like how this picture worked out (though I must admit I can't claim much credit). It reminds me of old postcards.

I am guessing the main reason there are so many wires on one pole is it combines electricity at the top and phone lines on the rest of the pole. You can mainly tell as the electric terminals have insulators on and the others are woven in radial patterns without them.

The main road through Clifton, Bristol.

The cafe in Queen's Wood, Muswell Hill. I've been going to the woods all my life and never knew it was there till now.

I was cycling along and noticed some bees buzzing around. I soon came across this swarm of bees in a hedgerow bordering the cycle-path. I gave it the widest birth possible but got close enough to take the photo. smile

Pimlico Plumbers have toilet based number plates on their vans. I missed getting FLU5H as it was moving, but got this one.

A monument to the American troops who were stationed in Winchester - Hampshire during the First World War. It represents a soldiers kit left on a railway bench.
