Maybe the water tower is a radio telescope. I wouldn't be able to tell them apart as we have few of either here.

My wildflower patch is doing OK this year. They all died before flowering last year because of the hot dry weather. I watered them a bit this year:

I spent the afternoon giving this bike a going over. It has been sat in the shed for ages, covered in cobwebs and neglected. It needed a new front inner tube, generally lubricating, the gears sorting out and a good clean. It's had a short road test but I'll take it for a proper ride in the next day or two.

It's a while since I added a path, here's one I just found in Hendon.

Not the greatest shot of last night's lunar eclipse but the best my Canon compact camera on 20x zoom would do. The Moon was quite bright though and the photo is pretty much what the eye saw. I've cropped the photo and removed some chromatic aberration (red fringing) using Paintshop Pro.

The older the road sign the higher the build quality. This is dated 1899.

Suburban London used to have very few tower blocks, now they are growing like mushrooms. This is a mile east of me.

I just came back from a village on the Suffolk coast for a road sign, and went into the village afterwards and spotted this as well.



It was raining so much this was after I'd cleaned the lens and still got wet.
