Tough one, pia, but I would probably go for an action thriller from Clive Cussler. He has about 15 books that are all ripping yarns. 'Raise the Titanic' would look good on celluloid.

Here are a few that I've thought would make good movies: "Intensity" by Dean Koontz, "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" by Stephen King, "Time Storm" by Gordon R. Dickson, and "Dhalgren" by Samuel R. Delany.

I'm torn. I think I'd love to see Poppy Z. Brite's Lost Souls turned into a movie. Yet, it would be so easy to hack it to pieces trying to force it into an acceptable package for the viewing public. Yuck! Yup, I would have to be the director on this one.

This is a tougie....but I'd probably have to go with "Lily" and "Looking After Lily" by Cindy Bonner. But I'd have to figure out what to leave in and what to take out so the movie wouldn't be too long.

Mine! The one I wrote!
I suppose that wouldn't make it, though....
So, I guess I'd direct a remake of To Kill A Mockingbird and this time emphasis (sorry if I misspelled that) on the parts that were made to be hit upon.

I'm a big Neil Gaiman fan, so I'd choose "American Gods" and "Good Omens." There is supposed to be a "Good Omens" movie in the works, but I haven't heard much about it. I think I'd also do a few Terry Pratchett books, but I don't know how well they'd translate into film.

"Down a Dark Hall", by Lois Duncan would make a good movie. It's an excellent young adult horror story.

I think an epic movie, which combines 'The Valley of Horses', The Mammoth Hunters', 'The Plains of Passage', and 'The Shelters of Stone'.
I even have a list of who would play Ayla, Jondalar, Thonolan, Talut, etc! I think it would be quite a movie!

Njal's Saga.
Gary Oldman as Njal. Clancy Brown as Skarphedin. Mel Gibson as Gunnar. Clint Eastwood to direct.
You line the other guys up, and I'll prepare the screenplay.
