I just noticed this when I saw other people posting in the Duels Thread in General Chat. For at least some of us, and maybe all of us, there are only 14 Duels topics today. Oops...

It looks like we have Literature as the topic of the day and Literature as one of the random selections - there is one base category fewer than normal.

Hah interesting... I'll fix the algorithm for the future to take that into consideration.

Indeed, the problem is that the system seems to believe we were given 15 topics, and this will affect our percentage (it tells me I have won X out of a possible 90, though I've only played 89).

windrush, it will probably not compensate for that. I already posted on the chatboards - if anyone winds up missing a higher tier (I'd prefer to keep it to 4+ since that is where it gets really difficult although that's not a hard rule. If you're not a pro and you'd probably need a long time to get another good month, by all means, submit a lower one, too) by exactly one game this month, please take a screenshot and mail it to me after playing on the 30th and we'll see if we can adjust your tier manually. (It's important that you take that shot - the scores reset on the 1st and then we can't see how you played in September).
