Why do the TOP teams in League D have the lowest score?

Shouldn't they have the highest score?

The rankings in the individual games are added to give the final score. As in golf, lower is better.

The top team in League D is ranked number 2 in Heroes, 1 in Daily, 1 in New, 1 in Easy, and 2 in Word. If you add those up, it gives you the '7' that you see.

The New York State Folks is 5 in Heroes, 9 in Daily, 22 in New, 13 in Easy, and 9 in Word... added up, that gives the score of 58.

The best possible score in League D would be 5... assuming a team was number one in all five categories.

If we're looking at the top 165
then
how is this possible?

193 / 165 player also got 1 point for their team!!

Everyone beyond 100th who is in the top X players (X = 4, 5, 6 or 8 depending on league) of their team gets that one point. The /165 is not necessarily accurate. It's just the highest that can happen in one of the top 3 divisions.
