The two young girls missing in England for more than a week might have been found. The police are at the scene now where a jogger found two areas of disturbed earth earlier today.

For those not in the UK, these girls were both 10 years old and just before they went missing they were playing on a computer... on the Internet. It is not yet known whether they left the house to meet a person from the Internet.

Can you keep us up to date with this , Sue, my local press haven't bothered. I believe a driver was seen struggling with passenger(s) , by a taxi driver?

I watch the BBC World News at 6 p.m. and at that time they reported that a man who lived around the area where they found the disturbed earth heard screaming at about the time when something possibly occurred. They said there have been over l0,000 tips from people who may have heard or seen anything and it is hard to keep up. I hope the girls are found alive. Occurrences like this happen all too often in every corner of the globe and are very heart wrenching.

The news this morning is that the two earth mounds are not connected to the girls - which means they are still missing. I don't know what the mounds were at this time, perhaps some sicko getting kicks by wasting police time.

Personally I don't hold out much hope for them being alive after over a week.

I just heard the news. That was my first thoughts about the mounds too. It's a relief though that it wasn't the end of the search for the girls.

The police have arrrested two people, a man (28) and a woman (25), for the suspected murder of the two girls. There has been no announcement regarding the finding of the bodies as yet.

The man is a school caretaker (janitor) which is something which I find interesting, interesting as when I was 10/11 years of age, myself and several other girls were sexually molested on a daily basis by a caretaker (janitor) at our school. We were too ashamed to tell anyone, we didn't like what he did but didn't know how to tell an adult. I am not talking serious assault, more of a cuddle and fondle over the top of our clothes of our backsides - it makes me shudder even now.

The bodies of two girls have been found in a place called Mildenhall which is about 20 miles from the homes of the girls.

Those poor parents, to have their worst fears confirmed. It is probably little consolation to them that two people are in custody at present.

This is awful news. No-one can imagine what the poor parents are going through. I'm sure the whole of the country is thinking of them at this desperately sad time.
