Ronaldo scored his 10th WC goal in the semi-final on 26th June 2002 (he scored 2 more in the final to give him 12 career WC goalsl)

Gabriel Batistuta (Argentina) scored 4 goals in 1994, 5 goals in 1998, and his 10th WC finals goal came on 2nd June 2002 in the group game against Nigeria ... so he beat Ronaldo by 24 days, becoming the 10th player to score 10, and Ronaldo was the 11th
