Help! Is there anyone out there who has any suggestions on where I might find the lyrics to the song called "Lydia Purple"? I have asked in the Challenge Forum & the Music Forum but so far no one has a clue where to find the lyrics! I really like this song and would like the lyrics to it! I appreciate the help! PF

I arrived at it by just punching in lyrics to 'Lydia Purple' on Google search engine.

Well I explored the site but no luck! I guess I will need a Miracle to help me find these lyrics! I haven't given up yet and I know that the FT Team is still working on it also for me! I am sure that some where out there someone has the lyrics!I don't know if this will help anyone but I remember the Chous or some of it and it goes like this:

Lydia Purple lived in a steeple,knew all about nature but nothing bout people!

Maybe if I could find out who wrote it that would help? Well I just know that the FT Miracle Team will come through for me and succeed in this most adventersome quest! I appreciate the help! PF

and btw they didn't have either the lyrics or the sheet music

gtho4, did you try Rockdale library?
They have on a database a wonderful collection of sheet music and I have found them very helpful before. They specailise in music.
I have meant to do it all week but haven't had the phone off line.

.. no luck at Rockdale Library, yet another dead end!

I have received an e-mail from a music forum and a fellow is offering to send an MP3 ? file from his CD that has the song on it.

Said that words were kinda hard to understand.

On Bill Henderson, when I was checking around on this, his name did come up a lot, but nothing had any suggestion of lyrics to the tune you are looking for.

Also discovered that the Collector's were originally the Chessmen (from Canada).
