Today I connected to Funtrivia Quizzyland and saw that one of my quizzes had been taken offline. I want to know why, no note was sent to me explaining why it's now offline, and it was online yesterday. It had already been played 27 times and was online since May 16. So why is it taken offline NOW?

Aball, what was the quiz ID number? We need to know more than "my quiz was taken offline." What quiz? What category?

Aball - did you get correction notices about your quiz? Click on the title of your quiz and then on 'quiz notes' - maybe you just didn't see the 'Your quiz is being taken offline due to player-reported error...' notice.

If you mean your quiz on "System of a Down" lyrics, the quiz history shows that you took it offline. You may have done it unintentionally while fixing something.

That's exactly it Crisw, I made a correction but I was in a hurry... I don't come into FT very much lately because I'm busy on many other sites where I'm an authority figure... anyway, so I'm quite busy when I use the computer. Not much time for FT. But err, now, it says that it is "awaiting approval", like if it has not been online before... I surely hope the editors will let it online this time, since I heard a lot some time ago that the quizzes will have to be made better now...

Quizzes that are taken offline and sent back through the queue go through the same process as a "new" quiz. They're checked over by the editors and sent back for more correction, as necessary.

That's why it's always a great idea to go ahead and recheck your quizzes using the Category Guidelines before resubmitting them - even if it was just taken offline due to one player correction notice. It's a perfect time to make sure quizzes are of quality standards.
