Do editors let us know when a quiz we have made has been moved to an entirely different section? I wrote, a little while ago a quiz on prisons in London (historical) and put it in the London section. I returned today to find it not in the London section but in the 'World Sites' section....

  • Firstly, it would be nice to tell quiz authors you are overruling their choice of section;
  • Secondly, it would even nicer to have editors for the particular section listed on each page so quiz authors can ask questions about section placement appropriately and not bother other people without due cause; and
  • Thirdly, why does a quiz about London in general, end up in the 'World Sites' section which implies one specific area? The geographical area covered by London Prisons is huge and is more suited I think to a city section?

Obviously it goes without saying I am happy to be corrected by good reasons, I just wish I had know the situation earlier...

I can't answer your specific questions, but I can tell you that I usually don't notify an author if I move a quiz within the categories that I edit. On at least 80% of the quizzes I edit, the correct category isn't chosen. Usually people submit to just the root category (for example, Animals) and don't pick a subcategory.
