Watched it the last days, it is always the middle part missing...

I have question gaps too. Queston 83631, next question 83639. I think it happened for my previous two sets as well. And, yes, it was the middle part that was missing. Seems like it's always a gap of seven questions.

Is the question gap in the Monster Quiz being looked into or is there no fix for this?
I've had seven questions missing from the middle part in every set since I reported it. It's not a one-time occurrence for me.

The monsters need to be fed to produce more questions. If anyone has food for them (they prefer cheaters, corrupt politicians and other assorted scum), please toss it down into the holding cells of the Ruby Dungeon. Terry will then do the honore...

As none of the "Contact us" options deals with the Monster I try to find help here.

Since about one month a part of the monster quiz is missing. It is always the same amount of questions, the part in the middle.

Today it looks like this:

Quote:
"

84126. Thematic 10Q Average: So Funny I Forgot To Laugh

The late 2000s sparked the onset of the GFC. Affecting almost every person on the planet, which most people found "so NOT funny they DIDN'T forget to laugh", what does GFC stand for?

Giant Fish are Coming
Global Food Crisis
Global Financial Crisis
Great Fence Closure

More Difficult

84134. Marie Antoinette's Watch"

https://www.funtrivia.com/monster/playtournament.cfm

The most questions I can get right at the moment are 8/15.

Thank you very much.

You're not the only one. This has been coming up as a bug the past little bit; Terry needs to kickstart something to get the automatic feeder going for our poor monsters. wink

Just wanted to confirm it's being worked on.

In my personal daily game this unanswerable question appeared.

++++++++++++

1. Todd and Nancy want to paint the ceiling of the room. If a bucket of paint covers 50 square feet, how many cans do Todd and Nancy need to buy?

Your Answer: 4
The correct answer was 3

Other accepted answers: three

There are 120 square feet of ceiling. If a bucket of paint covers 50 sqft, then they need 3. If they just buy 2 they still have 20 sqft unpainted.

+++++++++++++

No measurements were supplied, so not possible to answer.

I think I remember reporting that one (or possibly another one from the same quiz) about a month or so ago. I used the correction button and mentioned that it didn't work as a stand-alone question in a game. I think the measurements are given earlier in the quiz.

As editors, the only tool we have is to tick a box to exclude questions like these from appearing outside the original quiz. The catch is that we only see it when re receive a correction note and, even then, it doesn't always seem to work or, at least, not immediately.

On the Personal Daily Quiz, there is a work around which isn't available on most of the mixed quiz games for a situation like this. Since it is not timed and it gives you the name of the original quiz, you can go back to the original quiz and look at the prior questions in order to get the missing information.

That's interesting- too bad the local election here is over. Politicans are best to catch when they are in the open.

Maybe someone from other countries could do some feeding?

It seems that on the new Biggest Slice challenge the winner goes to whoever is the first player submitting a certain score rather than the fastest player. For example if someone submits a score of 982 in 18.00 seconds before someone else with a score of 982 in 17.55 seconds the first player will show as the overall winner even though the latter player had a faster time.

The Team Heroes game ( https://www.funtrivia.com/heroes/ ) still has a bold message in red saying "This game has been modified to fit in with the upcoming TVT system."

After a year of the new system, the message seems to be obsolete now.

Would it be feasible to move all completed recipes to the bottom of the lists on the author's kitchen page? Or maybe have a sorting feature that allows just outstanding recipes to be grouped together? In particular I would find it beneficial on the "daily market" page when considering swapping ingredients. Thanks! BTD

It would be great if something like that could be implemented. When one has completed many recipes, it is all too easy for the non-completed ones to become almost invisible. I know it has become a bit frustrating for me to scroll up and down my rather long list of completed recipes to remind myself of what ingredients I may need.

As requested above, I have made some UI changes to "Author's Kitchen", to better handle large numbers of ingredients and dishes.

Perhaps make a change to the order of the Hourly games, in order to group the three Triathlon events together? (Mixed, Piece of Cake and Who's the Smartest)
