Yesterday, I played the bonus game "The Point Tree" earning 1375 points. These points were not added to my cumulative total for some reason. Can that be done administratively?

We cannot manually adjust points, but they should be in your total. Note that much like the points for authoring, Point Tree does not affect daily points - you would only see them when checking your overall score. I just played two games to test and the score definitely did update for me.

One of my daily challenges today is:"Score at least 5 questions correct in any quiz found in the delme category."
When I clicked the delme link I got this message:"Bad category (this is a virtual link pointer, not a category)."
My FT team has a "gripe" thread. Here's my posting earlier today: I just spent 12 credits on a new daily challenge, looking for one of the epic ones.
Guess what! There's a new FT category: Time for a quiz-a-thon! Use Timed Quiz Mode to score 3263 points taking player quizzes in each of the following categories: Literature, World, Television, Animals, delme. You may retake quizzes you have not played within the last 30 days.
delme? Huh? What's going on here?
So I tried this new category, only to find: "Bad category (this is a virtual link pointer, not a category)."
Oh well, I'll play the other four categories, but I'm going to be a tad annoyed if I miss out on completing this one because of "delme".
I wish someone had "deleted it" instead of leaving it there for players to stumble across.

Did you try typing in 'covfefe', Slightly Annoyed? Somewhat unsurprisingly, no.

I have recently received several messages which compliment various crosswords of mine.
Usually I would be delighted, but there appears to be something rather odd about the member forwarding these messages. His FunTrivia name is jake1957, and his profile page shows that he joined FT in 2010, but has only reached Level 4.
Whilst this is a remote possibility, it cannot be possible for him to have completed all of the crosswords for which he has sent compliments, when his profile indicates 0 points on every occasion.
I would be grateful if this matter could please be investigated.

There are lots of regular members who hardly play any games, and since they get no points for quizzes or crosswords, never rise very far in levels. I daresay they number in the hundreds, if not thousands.

At 00:55 today, the buzz reported: 12:55 A new Celebrities quiz added today: Ten Super Selfless Sci-Fi TV Stars of the 60s-70s (gracious1)
This was added yesterday, the 3rd December, not today. The Buzz counts “today” as meaning within the past 24 hours.

I'm pretty sure only GMs get points for crosswords taken? Thanks Terry, I didn't realise that only GM's are given points for crosswords. I wondered if it was an attack by the trolls!

I've just woken up and responded to three messages from Jake, two of them complimentary and one taking me to task for about the meaning of a word in one of my crossword puzzles.
I don't see this person as a troll, and likewise I appreciate Terry's explanation.

Verbonica: please show me an example quiz that shows it being "off" for you. Hi Terry, The latest one was a couple of hours ago. It was a Common Bond Quiz. Sorry, I tried to page back to it to give you a link, but it doesn't come up for me.
