Hi, I just got a new computer too. Fun and frustration all at once.
You can try this or have somebody try it for you. The first section will delete all autofill info. The second part will let you delete specific entries.
You’ll just need to head over to Chrome’s settings. If you want to delete all autofill entries and saved text, follow these steps:
Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar (the icon featuring three vertical dots)
Select More Tools > Clear Browsing Data
In the dialogue that appears, check the “Autofill form data” checkbox, then select the amount of data you’d like to delete from the dropdown menu at the top of dialogue box. (Select “the beginning of time” to clear everything.)
Click the “Clear browsing data” button when finished
If you want to just delete specific autofill entries:
Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar and select Settings
Click “Show advanced settings” and find the “Passwords and forms” section
Select Manage Autofill settings.
In the dialog that appears, select the entry you’d like to delete from the list.
Click the “x” that appears at the end of the row.
Voila!
Hope this helps.

It did indeed, Wolf. Thank you.
I've switched back to IE. Chrome was like being in a hyperactive carnival with flashing lights and colours and noise everywhere etc. Too much sensory stimulation. Just ghastly. I'm surprised my brain didn't have an electrical surge or something. IE is lovely and sedate and calm.

Why is "England" not an option for location, when Scotland and Wales are? Could it be added, pretty please?

I tricked the system into thinking there is a town named England.

I tricked the system into thinking there is a town named England. And I suppose the main hamlet is a few houses called London?

I think I've mentioned this ages ago, but the problem still occurs.
My Difficult daily challenge was to play a new quiz within 20 minutes of it going online. A link is provided to the new quizzes. However, new quizzes do not appear on this list for 20 minutes so the link is virtually useless. Would it be a problem to provide a link to The Buzz instead? Those new to FT may not be aware that this is the place to find quizzes immediately they go online.

When I try to play the New Question Game today, I get a message: "An unexpected error has occurred. We are unable to continue. Administrators have been notified of the problem.'
If that is so, then it needs to be fixed ASAP. If not, consider this a notice. It needs to be fixed ASAP because it is a team game for League A and I would like to contribute to my team effort. I just got the same message. (Running Windows 8.1 with Firefox browser.)

A player has reported on the Boards not getting the 100 FT points due them for playing the Global Challenge bonus game and achieving a qualifying score. I believe the problem is that Division 1 does not get FT points, but the player reports seeing an end-of-game message saying that points were awarded. As I am not in Division 1 myself, I cannot confirm what happened here. https://www.funtrivia.com/bb.cfm?action=details&qnid=30974&boardid=13If an end-of-game message does appear in Division 1 saying points were awarded, this may be an error which needs to be fixed.

I've reported this issue several times before over the last couple of years but it still hasn't been amended:
The editorial staff handling the single questions - as opposed to full quizzes - has take a question I wrote on James Stewart in my quiz "And They Lived Happily Ever After" - and used it as a single question.
Unfortunately though, in the quiz, the answer for this question only allows for the answer of James Stewart - the name by which he was credited in every single one of his movies - but if it has been used as a Fill Me In single question, the answer still only allows for the one answer of James Stewart, whereas James Stewart was also known to his family and friends etc as Jimmy Stewart.
I have asked several times for this answer choice to be amended to "James Stewart & Jimmy Stewart", but it apparently still hasn't taken place and I'm fed up to the back teeth with receiving correction notices from indignant players who have answered "Jimmy" instead of "James".
Can this be adjusted please? Some of those correction notes are quite aggressive.
Or should I delete the entire quiz?

Or should I delete the entire quiz? This would be best handled by an editor in the category where the quiz resides, which appears to be Celebrities. As all of the questions are multiple choice, it is not possible to amend them to take alternate answers. What can be done is to remove the question from the pool for the Fill in the Blank game. What is needed is an instruction from you, in the space provided on any one of those correction notes, requesting that the question be removed from the pool. Pulling MC questions into the FITB pool is a fairly recent development, and sometimes unsuitable questions are quite innocently chosen. I do notice that the MC answer in the quiz is "Jimmy Stewart", which to my mind should be changed to "James Stewart", as that was how he was normally billed for films and so forth. ____ Spanishliz (Editor in Movies, Brain Teasers, Geography and Crosswords)

If someone encounters a FMI question that says "Only one EXACT answer is accepted for this qn" (indicating it was originally multiple choice) and there should be multiple acceptable answers, they should "report that this question should not be in this game" instead of sending a correction notice.
