Yes I'm well aware of that but I thought as a paying player we bumped guests from their spots as if they were never there I believed I Have seen this before?
If by "paying player" you mean a gold member, no, being a gold member does not allow a player to bump another player out of first place. I would have more Expert wins, Champion and regular, if that was true. If you mean a registered player at FunTrivia, gold or not, being able to bump a winner out of first place, that doesn't hold true either. If you don't win the game, you are not listed as the winner and cannot be awarded win points.
Another example of this is the Monster Masher mini badge. For that you have to have the top score in 30 topic mashes within a 30 day period. (I think, I might have gotten the time frame incorrect.) However, if a guest player has the top score of 990 and you (or any player) score 989, you do not get to dethrone the guest from having that win.
An exception to listing Guest plays on topic mashes is when a mash appears as a Duel topic. So many people complained of seeing Guest scores in the top scores that Terry fixed it so we do not see Guest scores in Duel topics. Guest scores never had any impact on registered players in the Duels.
