The check page seems to be frozen showing that you have 5 qualifying games. It showed that I had played 5, I played 2 more, and it stilled showed 5.

How long did you wait? The badge message says it is recalculated every hour. But it doesn't specify the exact time, so if you played just after a recalculation, it could take nearly 2 hours for the new result to show up.

I noticed, while looking at it, that I only have Tier 1 ticked on the message page, but I clicked earlier today, and got a message saying I had reached Tier 2. When I tried again a few minutes ago, still seeing Tier 1 ticked, I was told that I am at Tier 2, and have only played a handful of games since the last update (which would be since I upgraded earlier today). And my profile only shows Tier 1. What am I missing?

I note the Your which should be You, but am far more concerned that the two pages, accessed within seconds of each other, have different information. The number of plays only being the number since I hit the button earlier today to claim Tier 2 means that something got registered somewhere. I am also somewhat surprised that the first page still only shows 1 person on Tier 2 - surely I am not the only one who has been playing team games regularly, and would qualify for Tier 2 immediately on applying?

To back up what L_T has said, I'm in the same situation. The second link tells me I also have 21 qualifying plays in the past 30 days and I know I've played more than that. It's also too much of a coincidence to believe she and I have played exactly the same number of games.

The same for me, Tier 2 and 21 plays, but I know I have played way more than that. Whilst you are tweaking, Terry, is there any chance of adding the number of games played so a tally can be kept of how we are progressing please? Thank you

I'm thinking the 21 is unlikely related to anything that any of us have actually played since I was at 9 when I went to bed last night and woke up with 21.

I'm also thinking that plays toward an upgrade may not go back past the time when the upgrade went live (or when this issue gets fixed).

I think it might accidentally be looking at one specific player (whoever the one at tier 2 is) instead of the player actually checking. Thus everyone sees the same number.

And it does go back 30 days now so if you've played 200 hourlies in the last 30 days, go ahead and claim tier 2 so you can reset and start on tier 3.

But the typo still remains unfixed.

Last night I was showing 9 games for 30 days. Today -

"Checking...
You already have the badge... let's see if you qualify for a new tier...
You have 436 qualifying plays so far in the past 30 days. Note that the count resets to zero when you win a new tier. "

Terry said he originally left it in debug mode which is what you were seeing last night. As he says above, it is fixed now which is what you're seeing. You can now start on tier 3.

Terry, is 50-50 included in the hourly games for this badge? Do we have to go back to the Challenges page to claim each new tier?

50-50 is definitely included (as are Fill Me In, Obscurity, and Gold Madness even though none of them are truly hourly games).

Yes, you do. Then the counter resets to zero and begins the count for the next tier.

As an added bonus, if you use the Who's the Expert mulligan, you get credit for 2 separate hourly plays.
