The reference to random appearance is what seems confusing, since it does not appear at random - it appears every night at the same time.

I wonder, was it random when it was new? Possibly before there were enough single questions to stock a daily game? I vaguely think this was the case, but my memory could be failing me.

I was in Difficult mode. Am I missing something?

You need to do tiers one by one. If you were only at 3 prior to playing, you are now 4. (Even if you had finished the game in 15 seconds on difficult, you'd have gone up only one)

This is what got me. I hardly ever check the challenge pages unless I need to claim something. The wording is what had me confused, the "in difficult mode" part.

I'm a psychic. I even guessed the correct word in Crystal Ball once upon a time, but only once. So I guess I'm not that good of a psychic...

Or maybe it needs two since it went live. I'll go plan another W.

I have played this quiz before, but it's over at least 60 days since it correctly counted it for 24 Hours of Science.

On the challenge page, I am shown as having played six eligible quizzes - here's one only as an example:

Letter A: 1 eligible quiz(zes) found.

But at the foot of the page, it says this:

You have completed 0 of 26 required letters so far.

Something is not working.

To check, I've played another quiz for a different letter, and it's registered as played next to that letter, but the total is still showing zero.
