Boom, great news! I now have a ton of letters.

Probably Terry just got it fixed, but in case it was coincidence, I first got at least one for every letter. When I completed the quiz for the final letter with 0, is when all sorts of numbers popped up.

Thanks, Terry.

Made Tier 2 and the system gave me credit (showed up on Challenge Wins) but there seems to be a problem with the display on the challenge page. Messages:

I suppose we need several more quizzes starting with unusual letters as Q and X before a Tier 7 can be programmed? Let's all get to our writing blocks.

Tier 7 is 10 per letter, also 60% required. It's listed in the challenge itself.

Quick Quiz

Now that we have upgrades available on Quick Quiz, would it be possible to get a Checkmark when we have completed our maximum number of Quick Quiz questions and answers each day, as we do on the other daily quizzes?
I find that I go back and try to add to my original 75, forgetting that I have already maximized my Quick Quizzes for the day!

Thanks.

A great suggestion! I thought I would be the only one that has forget-ism. smile

Forget-ism (nice coinage) is the result of having so much to do around here. grin

Don't forget you have to do that one step at a time, which means there will be some serious reshuffling of players between attempts.

Just to confirm, this means that in order to reach Tier 7, you need 8 other players with the same score of at least 15,000 AND they each need to be at tier 8 already, correct?

Any 8 players, at any tier. Only those though at tier 6 at that time will get the tier upgrade though.

The other version would just have been TOO evil - if you were to need 9 tier 6 owners to make a run at 7, you'd need to start your attempt with 28 players at tier 1, only 9 of which could reach the goal.

As it stands, any dedicated group of 9 would be able to push/lift each other up through the ranks.

Whew! Another question: Player on a lower tier is with a group grabbing a higher tier. Would the player on the lower tier advance one rank?

No, they would not since they do not meet their conditions. If you're a tier 3, you'd need a group of exactly six for #4, but if you're part of a tier 6 effort, you'd be ina group of 8, so no advancement.

If you want to push for T7 with a fixed team of 9 players, you'd have some people repeating every tier:

T2 = three extras (3x4 = 12)
T3 = one extra (2x5 = 10)
T4 = three extras
T5 = five extras
T6 = seven extras

So altogether, you'd have 19 people doing an extra - everyone in a team of 9 would have to do an extra round twice and one would have to do it three times).

You'd need two days per tier (except the last), so you could be done in 11 days.

So just a cynical observation, Andy is correct because there's no incentive for anyone of a lower rank to participate. (eight Tier 6 players: Hey, want to help us reach Tier 7? you, a tier 5 player: What's in it for me? Them: Ummmm...)

As Wesley's post showed, a group of 9 players who wanted to cooperate so as to reach their goal would each, on some days, not get an individual reward, but within a relatively short time, if all are dedicated to the task, would get their reward. Some days you are helping others, some days others are helping you.

Feels like the tier scoring for 3 keys should be for "at least" this many people. Then everyone has a direct incentive to help and people can't be sabotaged by someone who joins everyone later (especially if the person who joins later is at a tier higher by 1, thus rewarding them for messing up others' work and giving the people who set it up nothing). While it's true that a specific group of 9 people could do it, I think it's better to encourage random camaraderie than make it based on talking 8 other specific people into doing it.
