One of our 'new' games counting towards team performance in League B this month is said to be Word Wizard, but on the actual team results page it's showing the results for the 'Easy' Game, Piece of Cake' under the heading for Word Wizard. The Easy game has not been flagged up as counting towards our team performance this month, so I'd not been playing it much but clearly it is the game whose results are counted rather than the results of Word Wizard.

Here is my evidence:

I am in division 3 of the divisions for the Word Wizard game and the day before yesterday my highest position in a word wizard game in my division was 3rd but I was not even mentioned in our team results.

Yesterday my highest position in my tier was second. I was (32/165) overall and I played for 8 hours but I am shown on the team performance results page as only having played for 1 hour and I'm shown as bottom of our team rankings at 158/165. The scores don't match up either. The scores on the league results are in the 900s whereas the scores on the game are in the 1400s if you get a result like second or third.

The game result for me that does match up to 158/165 for yesterday is Piece of Cake (Easy)

I am not the only one in my team (Vixens) that has noticed the discrepancy. I presume it's affecting all teams in League B, but some people always play Piece of Cake (Easy) whether it's listed as counting for League Performance stats or not, so the affect may be less noticeable for them.

I'm assuming it can't be fixed this month now and we'll just have to be sure always to play Piece of Cake.

Can you investigate and rectify if possible, if not for this month, then for the future?

Mix, a few of us have mentioned this glitch over the past few months. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon. The scores are correct - it's just that one link which is a problem. If you take the scores from here...

rather than the "Pts Yest" for WW on the team page, you'll see that they're correct.

So it's just the breakdown of points yesterday that's not matching the overall team ranking? Is that right? I'll take your word for it, but the evidence to back it up isn't there as far as I can see, so we'll just have to have faith. Is that it?

Faith that the overall result is right for Word Wizard and counting towards our performance score - (that's what I meant).

If you go to the WW page and click on "My Team", the correct scores are there and they are being used to calculate the monthly standings. It's all good.

Word Wizard has been a team game in Division A in both December and January and this has been an issue the whole time. The actual numbers used for the standings appear to be correct since in December the Easy game was also one of the Division A games and while the scores it showed by individual were the same, the team rankings for the month were different between the two.

Ok, I am fixing bugs today. Can someone post a URL of the page that has the incorrect link? And let me know which link is incorrect? There are so many pages and links related to the team stuff that it is hard to work out what is being referred to.

Hi Terry, since you've stated you're fixing bugs today:

- Smartest of the Smart and Hourly Mix Winner requirements should be updated to indicate that 80 players, not 100 players are the threshold for awarding the badge.

- Hourly Mix Winner and Pot of Gold daily badges should indicate, like other badges, -how many times you've won in the past so the player can track their progress.

- The Black Epic flag doesn't count Fifty/fifty as an hourly game "win", but it does count Obscurity. Both are on 2-hour cycles so this seems inconsistent. (Personally, I would give credit to any non-daily game, such as Fill Me In or Gold Member Madness.)

- More badges should be added to the "Your Game Achievements" page (https://www.funtrivia.com/achieve.cfm) to make it easy for a player to track their progress. That page hasn't been updated in a while, so newer upgradable badges such as Achievement: Fifty-Fifty, the Win Points badges for each game, Pot of Gold, Smartest of the Smart, Hourly Mix Winner, and the Expert upgradable badges (Jack, King, Symposium) feel like they should be there as well.

"Your Game Achievements" page will likely be removed entirely. In fact, I'll do it today unless anyone can give me a good reason why it shouldn't. It was created before we had a large number of badges with upgrades. As such, it just duplicates info (and then only partially) available in the challenge section.

Well...maybe the layout of that page is less cluttered and easier to read at a glance than the Challenge section?

That's the only reason I can think of right now.

I can't find where the Pot of Gold daily badges indicate how many times you've won in the past. Was this overlooked or am I losing the plot ?

I agree with your thinking, the Games Achievements page isn't as important now and removing it sounds fine. I only mentioned it for consistency sake.

Thanks for the other fixes. However, I don't see the fixes for the seven upgradeable daily Pot of Gold badges. I still have no idea how many Mondays, Tuesdays, etc. I've won and I think it would be good to show so we have an idea of how far we have to go.

Oops. Win status added to each of the 7 minis, which seemed the most logical place to put them.

Not all upgradeable badges are Achievement badges. The Achievement badges are special badges that do not require you to compete with other folks, only with yourself for a personal best. So they deserve special consideration.
