Sypher and paper_aero continue to lead the way with a 2 point margin back to the peloton .. wwe84 picked the card and jumps up into equal third place to lead the peloton. He received a bonus point for a perfect pick.

gtho4 is still looking for his first bonus pt .. ozzz2002 collects this week's wooden spoon. One more and he'll be the first into double digits.

The six in the peloton are separated by a mere 2 pts. We're approaching the end of October and we still have five more rounds before we find out which three of the leading eight finish on the podium. The next round is on the weekend: Super League - Week 18 - Sun 25 Oct.

Another game was abandoned/postpone because of a virus outbreak. This was a rare opportunity to score a bonus point for perfect picks as there were only three games left in the round. We all failed .. no-one went perfect!

Sypher collects one of the four spoons on offer and, after 15 weeks at the top of the pile, falls back to 2nd place .. paper_aero replaces him, with just four rounds left .. srini701 retains third place a further point in arrears .. and then we have a tie for 4th another point behind.

The three medallists should come from the first eight (they're separated by 5 points). The rest of us are too far behind. There were no bonus pts this week .. gtho4 is still looking for his first bonus point.

Once again we had games abandoned/postponed because of another virus outbreak. The Super League comp may not see the end-of-season the way things are going. It may stop early; and start the post-season play-offs early.

When the comp resumed post-covid it was decided to switch from pts earnt to percentage of pts earnt (as some teams may not have been able to compete each wk), but with the caveat that a team must play 15 games to qualify. With only three scheduled rounds left, Catalans Dragons have played just 12 games: bbc.co.uk/rugbyleague.

Once again a couple of upsets ensured no-one went perfect. Howie72 went close with 3/4. He missed Leeds losing at home (as did everyone else).

paper_aero and Sypher remain 1st and 2nd and have now put 2 points between themselves and the peloton. The peloton of six players is now separated by a mere 2 pts. As there are just three (scheduled) rounds remaining, the finish post is too close for the rest of us .. we're too far behind to finish on the podium. Once again there were no bonus points this week .. and gtho4 is still looking for his first bonus point.

The season has come to a covid-induced premature end. It's all over.

ozzz2002 finished the season with back-to-back ducks, and the four weekly winners all collected a bonus point with stupendous picks of 2/2 .. and gtho4 finished the season with zero bonus points.

paper_aero has won the gold medal by a margin of 3 pts. He didn't hit the lead until week 14 of 20, when he joined Sypher for a share of the lead. They occupied the first two spots from there to the finish line; and finished with the best countback figures at +3 HoF vs. WS.

This was paper_aero's first-ever win in the FT Super League comp, in his third-ever podium appearance. He finished 3rd last year and 3rd eleven years ago, way back in 2009. This year's comp was the 14th edition; it started in 2007.

Sypher collected silver. He was leader for 15 straight weeks from wk3 to wk17. N-Bomb finished 3rd for the bronze medal .. he finished second in last year's comp. He's one of only three players to win this comp more than once, when he won three back-to-back titles in 2015-16-17 .. the others are srini701 (back-to-back titles 2008 & 2009) and PaulE (2011 and 2014)

Dizart, the defending titleholder, finished just one point off the podium in 4th place. The end-of-season awards are in the table below. Unlike last year, when wwe84 finished in the top five for all four categories, no-one was able to emulate that feat this year.

That's it for another season, which started a long long time ago. It began on Thursday 30th January!
