Anyone else fans of these two shows? I usually have them on in the background while I'm working editing quizzes, but I like seeing what the first responders have to deal with every day. And then every so often you get a really interesting episode, like the one with the fire in San Bernadino that they followed the entire episode or the car crash that went back and forth over two states and they didn't cut to commercial so we could watch.

For some reason they will recognize a county sheriff but not a city cop. Something to do with a law from the 1800s I think.

They don't think they need a drivers licence to drive on public roads paid for with taxes, but they don't pay taxes.

They're traveling, not driving! I think they recognize the sheriff because that's an elected position but because police aren't, they don't recognize them.

I'm just getting into this thread, but my wife is a big fan of the show...and some of the scenes are from a city I once lived in (the one that "Sticks" is an officer for). There are times I can catch where something is from there, just because of that (lived in that city from December 1981 to March 1989).

Wish we had cops as cool as "Sticks" around here. Seems pretty chill for a law enforcement officer.
