It been over a week since my quiz was submitted and still no one checked it. What is taking so long to look at my quiz? If it is not checked by Monday I'm deleting it and I will not be making anymore quizzes!

First of all: what kind of quiz are we talking about?
Maybe your quiz is in a very busy category?

Combined with the hollidays and the fact that all moderators are volunteers, it's possible they are taking some longer time...

But, don't get me wrong, I also just a player like you.

But may I ask where you get the nerve to talk like this?
This is a free site (well, for most of us) that is meant to give some people a good time. If there is one thing that I don't like, it's people barging in and DEMANDING things and making THREATS. Do you really think I'll miss your quiz? Do you really think it will upset me knowing you won't make any more quizzes? Wake up and smell the coffee, there are thousands of other quizzes here...

This is just a personal opinion of course

My advice to you would be: be patient and don't think you have people jumping around especially for you.

If you want to make quizzes, please do so. But don't think the world revolves around you. Cannot be, he's already revolving around me

What quiz are you talking about?

Of your 34 quizzes, 33 are on line. The 34th has been rejected twice, for good reasons, and is offline. You haven't resubmitted it. You have no quizzes in any queues.

If you want your quizzes to go online faster, try making a quiz in some category that isn't entertainment-related. All of those categories are glutted with quizzes, often poorly-written ones. A quiz on an educational subject, like science, history or humanities will go online faster....and perhaps people will learn something of value from it.

Hi Snowomen, Wimm and Cris make good sense. There are over 200 quizzes waiting to get online, 56 are in the entertainment category! I imagine it takes a bit of time to go over all those quizzes. I've had some quizzes get online in less than a day and some have taken over a week. I know it's hard sometimes, but try to be patient .

By the way, if this is the quiz to which you were referring (and I believe it is, since there are no others outstanding), it was created on August 20th. Today is the 24th, which means that it spent four days in the queue. This is not ideal, I agree, but please realize that there are more than sixty quizzes in the Entertainment queue. We editors are volunteers, who are trying to get as many quizzes online as possible, while ensuring that each is of a quality that adheres to Fun Trivia standards. This is sometimes a daunting task, as we like to work closely with each quiz maker, and provide as much editing, feedback and support as necessary!

Please have a bit of patience and goodwill.

Snowomen, Magpie8 is one hundred percent correct. We are all volunteers, which means we do this in our spare time.

You had no cause to come into the forums and make a rant. As Magpie pointed out, your quiz has not been sitting in the queue for over a week, it's only been sitting 4 days.

One has to realize that there are thousands of quizzes awaiting approval on this site. Each category has hundreds, and some more than others. The editors get to each individual quiz, one at a time.

Please understand this for future reference.

Hmmm, just back from my holidays and having a little tour of the place...I suppose my definition of insanity is different from that of others...that's why your subject line alarmed me. Apparently I wasn't the only one though..no hard feelings though...now you know us eds and moderators have lives elsewhere and are all volunteers, like me, normally pretty present around here, I actually managed to leave without checking but twice on a computer terminal in a lobby on how you all were...it was hard...but editing quizzes was out of the question, as was moderating...so the rest of the team was here...and they are a great gang, believe me.
Wimm will understand me and cheer for me only logging on twice during a two week absence...you see? So you see how things work better I'm sure.

Snowomen, your apology is accepted. Just do as Wimm suggested, and you'll be fine.
