George95, Dizart and Daaanieel were running on default fuel this week.The nightmare that is 2020 life got in the way again so there will be no game updates until I get caught up. Many teams "home" games are in different states to their home state.We had a reasonable round this week as we went 35/60 for a 58.33% strike rate. There was one perfect game as we all tipped Richmond to defeat Fremantle. We had two games where no one got a correct tip and they were Adelaide's win over Hawthorn and Sydney's win over Melbourne.We had six weekly winners this round who all went 4/6, the most notable being N-Bomb who had his competition leading 7th of the season. Sypher was back and he carried on where he left off with a solo spoon of 2/6, this makes it his 9th spoon in 15 rounds and 5 in a row where he has entered tips which will find him a spot in the record book.Of the regular tippers after 11 rounds only Sypher has yet to earn a weekly win as srini701 fills in his part of the column this round. There are more who have not taken home a spoon yet and they are LeoDaVinci, gtho4, N-Bomb, paper_aero, and George95.N-Bomb moves back ahead of LeoDaVinci by a point, Dizart's default score sees him a futher 2 points back with gtho4 closing in. The top four are still separated by four points. It is relatively stable at the bottom with Sypher's gap to George95 remaining at 7 points out of the regular tippers.

There were two perfect games as we all tipped the St Kilda and Brisbane victories. The trickiest games to tip were Dizart's solo pick of Fremantle beating Melbourne and Sypher's solo tip of Adelaide beating Greater Western Sydney.We had two weekly winners this round as Dizart and LeoDaVinci both went 6/8. Sypher again took home a solo spoon as he went 3/8, this makes it his 10th spoon in 16 rounds and 6 in a row where he has entered tips which will take him closer to the most in the record book.Of the regular tippers after 16 rounds only Sypher has yet to earn a weekly win. There are more who have not taken home a spoon yet and they are LeoDaVinci, gtho4, N-Bomb, paper_aero, and George95.N-Bomb's late tips sees LeoDaVinci draw back level with him and these two have a two point lead over Dizart, gtho4's default score sees paper_aero catch him up but these two are four points behind Dizart with two rounds to go. The top four are now separated by six points up from four last round. It is relatively stable at the bottom with Sypher's gap to George95 increasing to nine points out of the regular tippers.

There was one perfect games as we all predicted Collingwood would beat Geelong in the final game of the round. The trickiest games to tip were Melbourne's win at Greater Western Sydney (Llynfi and Sypher) and Adelaide's win at Carlton (gtho4 and Sypher).We had two weekly winners this round as Llynfi and gtho4 both went 7/9. It was the turn of ozzz2002 to take home a solo spoon as he went 4/9 which ended the run of six spoons by Sypher.Of the regular tippers after 16 rounds only Sypher has yet to earn a weekly win. There are five who have not taken home a spoon yet and they are LeoDaVinci, gtho4, N-Bomb, paper_aero, and George95 though George95 has had a number of defaults.N-Bomb and LeoDaVinci's identical tips sees them remain tied at the top of the standings while Dizart closes to within a point with one round to go, still could go any way, gtho4 is 3 points further back and would need a miracle. The top four are now separated by four points, down from six last round. It is relatively stable at the bottom with Sypher's gap to George95 decreasing to eight points out of the regular tippers.

There was one perfect game as we all thought Brisbane would overcome Carlton. The trickiest game to tip was Hawthorn's defeat of Gold Coast which still had five correct tips.We finished with one weekly winner as paper_aero went perfect with 9/9 and earned himself a bonus point. This time it was wwe84 who took home a solo spoon as he went 4/9.Of the regular tippers after 18 rounds only Sypher has yet to earn a weekly win. There are five who have not taken home a spoon yet and they are LeoDaVinci, gtho4, N-Bomb, paper_aero, and George95 though George95 has had a number of defaults.Now for what you have been waiting a very long time for - the results. N-Bomb beat LeoDaVinci by one point in the final round and that was enough for him to defend his title, Dizart also beat LeoDaVinci by one point in round 18 to draw level but it was LeoDaVinci who took home the silver medal on countback with the bronze going to Dizart after winning silver in each of the last 2 years, paper_aero's perfect round saw him overtake gtho4 for fourth place. Sypher closed the gap by another point to George95 but still finished last out of the regular tippers. The end of the season awards are as follows:

In the end it was a close-fought competition but managed to hold on for a very narrow one point victory which was only decided in the final round while LeoDaVinci held out Dizart on a count back for the runner up spot. It was a Covid shortened season with a number of teams playing some of their home games away from their usual home ground, in another state. What will happen next season? Will someone be able to beat N-Bomb? Will Sypher take home fewer than 10 spoons? Will the Australians be able to get back on the podium in their own sport after missing out in the last two seasons? Will I be able to keep up with posting the results? All will be answered in 2021. Congratulations to N-Bomb, LeoDaVinci and Dizart.Spoonless streaks
N-Bomb - sitting at 29 plus all 18 this season so continues at 47 for the 2021 season.
LeoDaVinci - no spoons in the last 22 rounds in 2019 but there were 8 defaults so that makes 14 plus all of 2020 so continues at 32 for the 2021 season.
gtho4 - the final 3 rounds of 2019 plus all of 2020 less 1 default round so continues at 20 for the 2021 season.
paper_aero - the final round of 2019 plus all of 2020 except for the first round which he missed so continues at 18 for the 2021 season.
