It's been going crazy over here, and we missed all the other huge surges because everyone in my county has been wearing masks and being careful for the most part.
Numbers were going down in my hometown, so we actually went to a restaurant. Hibachi, so only my family members were around the table and the tables were pretty far apart. So worked out well.
I ended up with an ear infection, but luckily I'd grabbed a couple Covid tests when I traveled so took one of them (negative) and my doctor was able to call in a prescription on Christmas eve for me.
I'm kind of resigning myself to the fact Omicron is here and going crazy, but at least it seems milder? But we're all recently boostered or recently vaccinated, so crossed fingers...
I did just buy paper masks for us to start using instead of the fabric ones.
