Oct 26th is next start.

I knew it was a pretty recent phenomenon but one that I and others had long predicted.

Would I be right in thinking that this coincided with the introduction of the victorious badge and the upgradable nature of immortal badge being introduced?

These two actions meaning that more former immortals were encouraged to play again?

Actually no. Victorious and the upgrades were after #32.

And while they did lure more prior Immortals out of the woods, they also shifted a large percentage of top players to the Hardcore side where you can get three upgrades for the price of one, which in turn lightens the burden on the 100 immortals criterion: HC immortals do not count towards that number.

How about GC #38? It's past noon, Monday, October 26.
