It seems to me a bit harsh that a player is unsubscribed to the weekly Knockout tournament after missing one game due to circumstances beyond one's control. I totally understand your trying to prevent habitual no-shows. However, I am a regular player but could not play last Thursday because our power was out for two days. I WANTED to play, had every intention to play, and was confident in my chances because I was doing well that week. When a major storm blew through on Wednesday night, knocking out everything in its path and causing major damage in my town, I was devastated that I could not play before the deadline on Thursday because there was no electricity, no internet, no NOTHING. We couldn't even get off our street due to downed trees and power lines. I just don't think it is fair that I am being punished this week through no fault of my own. I did not re-register on Monday because I didn't realize the punishment was for ANY no-show; I thought it was just for a no-show on the first day of the tournament. I will survive not playing in the Knockout this week, but I am very, very disappointed and wanted to voice my opinion. Thank you for listening.
