There are many people reporting Pot of Gold won't let them play because the game is saying they have already played. It is a required game in their League this month.

I've tried to play it and got this message:

We had a problem generating the question sets (QN 8) Please try reloading.

What Mira said is true, I've experienced it myself. It is saying that I have already played today. But it thinks today is Thursday, when in actuality, it is Friday.
Thank you!

It isn’t required for my league, but it is one of my Daily Challenges, and I am unable to play. I too am getting "We had a problem generating the question sets (QN 8) Please try reloading."

I have the same thing. Game must not have cleared last night. My same score from the 9th is already showing as played on the 10th, same score, time and division as yesterday. Yet, on the Daily Games page, it does not have the green check as being played.

I have the same thing.

This is one of the team games for League C. Is it going to say that no one played, or is it going to count yesterday's scores again when calculating the team ratings?

Problem fixed.

It appears changed editors made over the last few days to the "Famous Women" category accidentally broke this game, as it couldn't find enough questions.

I have changed the category designations for the game and it should all now be working.

Please let me know if it looks good now.

It's still just the same. It says I've already played it, and has all of yesterday's scores up.

It's also getting very late in Europe to try and play it now, even if it is fixed.

Just want to add on this part since it's sure to come up, the changes made to Famous Women were done to better-categorize quizzes without splitting things down gender lines. The section had more than 100 quizzes before. All of these are still in the People category, but in homes that better-reflect their non-gender-specific contents.

The section isn't going anywhere, but this does allow for us to look at it as a home for quizzes that dive into figures behind cultural shifts, movements, women's rights, and the like. This might mean a name change; it might mean something completely different. But either way, we all agreed that this was the move that made sense.

Ahhhh. The question problem also resulted in a failed game reset. I'll have to manually kill those old scores.

Game reset. And yeah, quite reasonable moving those quizzes. It just happened to have a dependency in this game. That doesn't happen often!

Managed to play it soon after it was working again, and woke up to a Friday winners badge!...mind you, there were only 2 of us who played. Still...little victories, eh? :-)

Terry -

If Famous Women broke Pot of Gold because there weren't enough quizzes, you may want to check and make sure it won't break Who's the Expert too. (Also, Expert is already sort of broken with certain categories not coming up for play despite theoretically being in the list - categories like Baseball, Rock and Roll, Flags and Symbols, and Art; and about a hundred categories available for play but never appearing in the Change the Future perk.)

Expert was a simple fix - the subcategory was removed from the list before the quizzes were moved.

Not sure about Heroes however - it probably still has it as a possible topic and would need it taken out.
