The first time i ever heard this song was when Denny died on Grey's Anatomy when they started playing it & it gets me every time.

Ah yes, the legendary "Billie Jean". It was the very first video of a male artist that I posted in my thread nearly a year ago, on September 2. Of course, the male artist in question was the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson, and "Billie Jean" was straight off the famous "Thriller" album. 80s music at its finest.

Several of the videos that have been posted are blocked in the US. Up till now, I haven't commented on that, but seeing as "Hotel California" is one of my favorite songs of all time, I will note that the video in the previous post is blocked in the US. A school teacher friend of mine from years back (he was a high school English teacher) had been a radio DJ in his pre-teaching life. He had remarked to his students that he hated "Hotel California" because when he was a DJ, that had been *the* most requested song at his station and he had had to play it so often he had gotten sick of it. It was a tradition at that private school to have a "Senior Skip Day" where the night before the seniors were to skip, they would "decorate" their teacher's classrooms to aggravate their teachers on the Skip Day for the amusement of the underclassmen. This friend of mine had had a boom box of some sort hidden secretly in the ceiling tiles somewhere rigged to play "Hotel California" at maximum volume on an infinite loop. It took him over an hour to find and disable that confounded machine. The kids, of course, loved the song!
