Hello all, I have been here approaching 3 years, however I have only just recently signed up to these forums, basically because at first I didn't even realise you had to register separately, however by the time that was explained I thought, well so much time has already passed without me signing up to the forums, I may as well just continue to play on the site without registering. However, when my friend persuaded me to finally upgrade another game I've also played for about the same amount of time the other night, I thought, may as well sign up to the forums to show my dedication and support for FunTrivia also, especially given that I don't have to pay to sign up here, unlike my upgrading of the other game. I am looking forward to polite, intelligent discussion here, and hope that I will be able to become integrated into the participation of the forums as well. I'm so grateful to be here, thank you all

Lovely to see you. Your name is intriguing (Now that spelling looks weird, even though I looked it up). Is the name a Lancastrian idiosyncrasy (ditto the spelling of that too!). Do tell. Anyway, welcome to you!

Thank You all for welcoming me onto the forums, that's so nice, I really appreciate your kind words. Ren33, as for my username, I explained how I came up with it in this thread, my reply is post number 28. https://www.funtrivia.com/bb.cfm?action=details&qnid=31103&boardid=13&start=20Thank You for your interest, so it's basically just a nonsense word I made up from playing english anagrams too much. Since it's my word, its definition is my prerogative, so I define it to mean to be in a state of fear caused by doubt or uncertainty in the meanings of words, which you may already know, but the use of them in different contexts presents uncertainty. So it's not a Lancastrian idiosyncracy in particular, more to do with ambiguity of words in general, still thank you very much for asking, it was a good question. Although I myself even think the sound of the word sounds harsh and dissonant, as if it makes you not want to even say it; I see from your profile you're from Hong Kong, well here in my country, uk, we have this gameshow called countdown, which is essentially based on anagrams, I went on it once, however, the idiots on it are just absolutely vile, and they seem to think the whole game is based around football, when it has nothing to do with football, they invited me to a mock football tournament, like world cup, and then said like "oh no way you could beat (insert random moron of the game)", and also I realised for myself that it's impossible for any individual to absolutely control the dictionary, however these simpletons seemed to think they owned the whole dictionary, despite being so thick they don't even know who Ludwig Wittgenstein is, so basically, as you must know yourself, in english we have all these prefixes and suffixes, like for example un-, dis, in, -ness, -ish, -tion etc. etc. etc. but of course, they don't all attach on to absolutely every word to make words which are valid according to this "exact dictionary" (which is of course nonsense). So I associate it with the fear of not wanting to say something which sounded stupid, I guess that's also another factor contributing to how I came up with it. Also thank you, you inspired me to google my username, and it only really comes up with different accounts I've made on other sites/games with this name, so I guess it really shows that it's my word. Also, obviously my behaviour on other sites is by far too inappropriate for me to send links to, however, I would just like to add that I think it's absolutely disgusting that I've been banned from certain sites already, while other idiots have got away with posting absolutely disgusting rubbish, just because either they posted it before there were anti-bullying/harassment policies in place, or they are site moderators, which they don't even deserve to be since their behaviour is absolutely vile; one idiot posted racist abuse about smaller African countries because their "less talented at football", and another idiots posted racial abuse about the Jewish religion, yet when I speak out against them, I'm the one who gets banned. So basically all this ended in the dispute finally moving to private messages on Instagram, after already having posted verbal abuse in Russian to my profile about a list of countdown contestants who I don't like, one of the idiots blocked me, and another only had one photo, which he removed after I posted abuse on it, also I threatened that about 200 Spartak Gladiators, who are Russian football hooligans who train to organise fights at football matches would mess them up, and a whole load of other stuff, also, someone already posted to adrian chiles, some football organiser or someone who is a regular guest in dictionary corner on countdown, "adrian chiles, our boys gave yours quite a beating!" referring to the attack in Marseilles at the 2016 world cup, which I was thoroughly in support of, because the fans we have here, are just racist, vile, disgusting, condescending, talentless idiots, who basically just hate anyone who doesn't support only their team, and they thought they could just insult the Russian fans, while not even training to fight, and it's like yeah, what a bunch of losers. So there you have more information on how I thought up my username, as was already stated by agony on that thread I sent a link to, that she doesn't like her username, well similarly I don't really, since I only play Russian anagrams anymore, I mean those idiots bullied so much, that I genuinely forgot the 3rd possible anagram of relations/tensorial/(and then I forgot), I genuinely guessed "tailerons" at first, which is like "ailerons" the aircraft parts, with a "t" added in front, took me a while to remember it was "orientals", which is again racist, since that should have a capital letter, but I'm just so glad to be playing only Russian anagrams now, with much nicer people, who are by far more friendly and supportive, so I want to continue to maintain this in order to show respect to them.

Amazing reply to "Where did your name come from?! Thanks. I am from Uk too and only came here in the 70's. Next answer, no I don't speak Chinese. My languages: English ( which I taught for umpteen years) French, German and bit of Italian and Spanish, have been no use here at all. To me, Harbilked is an interesting name, but I don't think anyone should have " a state of fear caused by doubt or uncertainty in the meanings of words". I just look em up.

You're welcome, and thanks also. Also I apologise for posting such rubbish, I was actually trying to post less on the chatboards on the main site, because I was thinking, some previous games I have played have just been of the form, you play it, without a chat option, which I think could be better in that it makes everyone just get on with playing, and not bogged down in petty arguments. I was just trying to explain myself, and why I was so angry, without causing offence.
That's very impressive that you know all those languages, I doubt if I would learn those however, since I'm mainly more interested in Asian languages, I am learning Japanese at the moment, and I also plan to learn Korean. I was actually amazed to find that I won Martial Arts in the Expert game, however, that really only boiled down to knowing some of the languages, with a few lucky guesses, as for other specific sports topics which I only have very minor interest in, Snooker, Swimming and Diving, possibly others such as Golf, Archery etc. well I've found for these questions generally come up about people who have made achievements in them, so while sure, I stand SOME chance, that's very unlikely I would ever win any other sports topics.
That's true regarding the meanings of words, however as I realised myself, language is always changing, and there's many different dialects etc. however I myself also look them up, which I just did while playing Krokvord, as I wanted to increase my vocabulary, and sure, while I solved whole grids of words, there were several I didn't know what they meant, so I had to look them up in my Russian dictionary, however there also several not listed there, because no dictionary can ever be "exact". I also sent some coins I earned to my friend there, since it came up as a notification, and it's not exactly like I need any more, really, I have that many.

Thank You cinnam0n, that's so nice of you to say, at first I was worried about signing up, since I didn't know what it was like, and I mainly want to focus on the games, however I've realised I should try and maintain a balance between trying to stay active, and only posting when relevant.

Thank You Satguru, that's very nice of you to say also And that's an interesting paradox, I suppose it must create it in order to receive it, and similarly receive it in order to create it, similar to all those self-referential paradoxes like Russell's paradox, All Cretans are liars etc. etc. Moreover your interesting question, makes you stop and question how to define what consciousness is.
