The two who were win-less last week are still win-less: George95 & Howie72 played each other and the game ended in a 6-6 draw. The point was enough to lift George95 off the bottom rung of the ladder on GD; ozzz2002 lost again and replaces him at the rear of the field.

srini701 was the only one in last week's first six to win. He moves up into 2nd place and cuts N-Bomb's lead in half to 2 pts. The next five players are separated by a mere 2 pts.

The two week FIFA international break seems to have dragged on for ages.
Howie72 won .. and is win-less no more. George95 drew again to make it five straight draws, which equals the all-time record streak for draws (see post below this one) .. one more and he'll break a record that has stood since 2011. He's still win-less, after 8 rounds, but has along way to go to break that record .. ozzz2002 started the 2007-07 comp with a 13 game win-less run.
N-Bomb was again held to a draw, which saw his 2 pt margin out front evaporate (it was 4 pts three weeks ago) .. srini701 joins him in a tie for 1st place, on the back of a three-game winning streak .. paper_aero is a point in arrears, also on the back of a three-game winning streak.

No-one in the first five lost this week, which saw them separate from the peloton (as the next six all failed to win). Howie72's first win sees the two at the rear of the field drift further back from the peloton.

George95 won again to make it three straight. He moves up to 10th place, a new personal high. Before this streak, he was win-less in ten (aka he was win-less for the first ten rounds of the season).

That's 13 of 26 rounds completed. Will our leader at the half-way point of the season go on to win the comp? Looking back over the last three seasons, only one of the three leaders at the half-way mark kept their spot and collected gold:
2019-20: at the half-way mark last year, N-Bomb displaced gtho4 in 1st place and went on to retain his title .. gtho4 faded from second to collect the bronze medal, George95 in 3rd finished in 9th place .. and paper_aero collected silver (he was 6th at the half way mark).
2018-19: toocool4u was leading at the half-way mark. He finished the season in 13th place (we had a field of 18 for that comp). N-Bomb was running 2nd at the half-way mark and went on to win gold .. gtho4 was in 3rd place and finished 4th. Dizart & srini701 finished in a tie for 2nd (Dizart collected silver on GD). Dizart was 6th at the half-way mark and srini701 was 4th.
2017-18: the 1st three at the half-way mark were PaulE, N-Bomb and Sypher .. N-Bomb and PaulE finished in a tie for second place (N-Bomb won the silver medal on GD), behind paper_aero, who was running 4th at the half-way mark. Sypher finished the season in 4th place.
The second half of the FT-PL season will commence in February 2021, a fortnight before the UEFA Champions League ends its mid-winter break. Although the FAPL season 38 rounds, we only require 26 for the round robin FT-PL comp (we have 14 runners this year). Therefore, we need to omit 12 of those 38 rounds; with the first half of the season finishing in 2020 and the second half starting in 2021.

Once again, there's no change out front. The three out front all won and retain their 1-2-3 spots, for the 3rd straight week. The gap back to the rest of us is now out to 3 points (it was 1 point last week), as Fifiona81 was held to a draw.

If you're playing a no-show you will win; all you have to do is avoid the wooden spoon .. aka if you're a no-show you will lose the match unless your opponent has a bad hair day and collects a spoon.

Once again, there's no change out front. The three out front all retain their 1-2-3 spots, for the 5th straight week .. their games all finished in a draw. Fifina81, who's now undefeated in eight, retains 4th spot.
We had three no shows for three straight weeks. This week we're down to two no-shows with the return of Geoge95.

Llynfi held srini701 to a draw to bring to an end an unwanted streak of five straight losses. He's now win-less in six .. and wwe84 is win-less in five. Dizart and Howie72 are undefeated in five.
ozzz2002 has been stranded all alone at the bottom of the ladder since R8 (back in late November). He won this week in R17, for his 4th win in seven and is now no longer the lone ranger, as he climbs up into equal last place. Before this he had won just once in the first 10 rounds.
We're 2/3rds of the way through the FT-PL comp: 17 gone and 9 to go.

Fifiona81 lost, to end her undefeated run at eight, but retains 4th place for the 5th straight week. Behind her we almost had a perfect rendition of musical chairs .. no-one kept their spot from last week (apart from Howie72).
