The first three all won and the four behind them all lost, which means the three on the podium have been decided .. srini701 needed to win one of the last two games, which he did, and collects the gold medal with a game to spare.
N-Bomb and Dizart are the other two medallists .. who collects the silver medal and who collects bronze will be decided in the last round.

The silver & bronze medals were decided in the last round. We had 12 of 14 lodge picks and the two on AWOL, N_Bomb and dg_dave, faced each other. As that game ended in a draw, N-Bomb and Dizart dead-heated for 2nd place. N-Bomb won the silver medal on GD. Dizart won again to end the season with six straight wins. Back in R5 he was running 2nd last. From there he lost just two of the next 21 games. He ended the season with an undefeated streak of 14 games. srini701 lost his final game, to Dizart, but had already won the gold medal last week. He's the 12th different payer to win this. This was his first-ever win in the FT-PL comp. His previous best over the last 17 years was silver in 2012 and bronze in 2009 & 2019. The three medallist earnt themselves an entry in the FT-PL Record Book (see post below this one): most wins for the season & fewest defeats .. and dg_dave set an all-time record for the fewest wins in a season. ozzz2002 finished the season on a new high. This year's FT-PL tipping comp was the
18th edition (first run 17 years ago in
2003-04).
The defending title-holder was N-Bomb,
paper_aero was the runner-up last year
and gtho4 won the bronze medal.
We had seven different leaders during
the season (solo or tied), which is more
than half the field. |

N-Bomb is the only person to have won this four times (2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020). No-one has won this three times; and three players have won this twice: gtho4 (2009 & 2010), illiniman14 (2012 & 2014) and PaulE (2007 & 2016). That's it for another season.
