Manchester United lost at home to bottom of the table team Sheffield United, allowing their rivals Manchester City to zoom to the top now. Liverpool finally managed to win, beating Tottenham away, as 6 road teams won this round.
Howie72 gave himself a birthday gift (for January 29) by bagging a solo win  srini701 and Dizart are among the spooners, allowing N-Bomb to again get back to the top here. N-Bomb is still spoonless (along with the defaulting dg_dave), while LeoDaVinci is still looking for his first win.

Manchester City posted a 20th consecutive win in all competitions (there...I've jinxed them now), Liverpool finally managed a win (over the bottom dwellers), Leeds and Arsenal continue their notoriously inconsistent results, while Southampton continue to slip fast.
Dizart returned to the top of our standings with a stellar round, N-Bomb takes his first spoon of the season and now leaves just the defaulting dg_dave and LeoDaVinci to fill the 2 remaining empty slots on our table...they have 12 rounds in which to return to action and do that.

A warm "welcome back" to dg_dave who returns to action after missing 15 rounds in a row....He promptly fills one more column in our table by bagging one of the 7 spoons this round...nice man His return also brought to a shuddering halt, the incredible win streak of Manchester City, who lost to their city mates....Liverpool lost at home for a 6th game in a row, this time to one of the bottom dwellers, Fulham....Chelsea consolidated their position in the top four beating Everton.
N-Bomb also made it back-to-back spoons, as srini701 now joins him and Dizart for a three-way scramble at the top....Sypher and Howie72 are the round's winners.

Crazy ****** season  Inconsistent form for most teams from round to round is making this one of the most unpredictable and interesting seasons of the Premier League.
Manchester City bounced back in style and is five wins away from the title....Manchester United and Leicester City won too, to consolidate their positions in the top 4, but Chelsea were held to a draw by Leeds (just the 3rd draw for Leeds the whole season!) and West Ham is scared of making a push for the top 4. At the other end, West Brom and Sheffield have probably decided life in the Premier league is not for them, and that they will go back to the Championship for next season.
srini701 shot himself in the foot in style, and has probably run himself out of the title race here. N-Bomb is back in the front, but Dizart is making him fight every inch...Lynfi ensured N-Bomb does not get an extra bonus point this week by joining him on the honours wall.

The drowning of Manchester City as the Premier League champions was probably delayed after the match between Liverpool and Man United got postponed.Chelsea moved to 2 points off 3rd place. West Brom is doing all it can to stay up, but will probably join Sheffield United back in Championship next season (along with Fulham?).

Either nobody reads what's being posted, or are too polite to point out anything  I had written "drowning" instead of "crowning" by mistake last week, but there's no response....so I can get away by writing whatever I want here 
No draws this week, and Chelsea stunned Manchester City yet again to move into 3rd place....Leicester City lost, but these two have put 5 points between themselves and the 5th placed West Ham (who lost too). Both West Brom and Fulham lost, and are relegated back to the Championship.
gtho4 picked Leeds to win, but Llynfi takes sole honours this round for a bonus point. wwe84 adds to his spoon collection.
