Ooh, tough question. I suppose my answer to that would have to be Ben Affleck. He's just so polished. Don't get me wrong, I really love Matt Damon, it's just such a hard question! Now if you had asked Josh Hartnett or Ben Affleck Ben would have won, hands down, but with Matt....

Well now, I am not entirely sure that I want to be joining in here but frankly the vote seems to be going too skewed!! I will choose... Mr Damon, because having seen Dogma, Talented MR and even Ocean's 11, I really do enjoy his presence on the screen (and NO I don't mean like that - honestly some people are so shallow...)

My best friend is a Ben Affleck fanatic, but I prefer the talented Mr. Damon. I admire his talent. I typically enjoy his films more. Plus, he's just so darn cute!

I've always prefered darker-featured boys myself (and for some reason I seem to go out mostly with blondes!) so, I think aesthetically, Ben is the go. I also loved his work in the Jersey films. And, no offence, Matt is pretty cute, but those angel-types never really impressed me....??

I could't have said it better, Tanzen! I totally have to agree with you, so I'd say Ben Affleck.

Sorry girls you will all hate me now, but Ben Affleck is more wooden than a wooden thing from a wood on the isle of woodland. Completely talentless, but SO pleasing to the eye.
On the other hand I think Matt is a real talent - quite good as the obsessive in the Talently Mr Ripley. However, he does nothing for me at all in the looks stakes - I think his nostrils are too big, his eyes too small and he has huge teeth!!
Sorry!!

I agree. Matt Damon has the talent and seems to have the brains. Maybe that is just the characters he plays. Ben just seems like the guy they put in cheese movies to please the viewers eye. Ofcourse it is not the movie that makes the man. Ben has the looks Matt has the brains together you have the perfect guy.

I partly agree. I also think that Matt is the more talented actor, and he seems somehow more passionate. I understand it when someone says Ben seems to be "wooden". But I think that Ben is a good actor, too. He has a great way of making fun of himself. And I can't stand to see him cry ("Pearl Harbor" was really horrible... I could hardly breathe...), that's something he really can do. Yet if I had to choose one of them.................................................................................................................................................................................... I DON'T KNOW! Both of them.

OMG miaowamberg, you actually made me spit my drink all over my desk when I read your comment. That was so funny, omg I'm still laughing. Anyway, I love Ben still. He's so cute and I do like some of his acting. I hope his new tv show, Push, Nevada is good. Does anyone know about it or if he'll be in it?

Thought I would check back to see if anyone responded yet. Hey, I found a link to Bens show. (http://abc.abcnews.go.com/primetime/push/index.html). there's a good picture of him there too.

Hey pepperdinks. I'll use that next time I spit up my drink. Ford, I'll stick with Ben and Push until I see Matts next movie.

Okay, this is tough......when you weigh them, they both have some pretty good movies and some pretty stinky ones. I love Armageddon & Pearl Harbor.....All the Pretty Horses was pretty good and I LOVE Oceans Eleven but Josh Hartnett was in Pearl Harbor and BRAD PITT & GEORGE CLOONEY were in Oceans Eleven so they didn't do it alone. When it comes down to my decision, i'll have to go with.....I don't know! I can't choose! They are both gorgeous!! (although, the whole wooden thing was pretty funny)
