Looking at the recent scores, the first person to play that quiz played it yesterday, 21 December 2021, at 6.36 p.m. so well outside the 20 minute required.

I suspect that you may have been misled by the banner announcements on the main page. These frequently appear to refer to new quizzes when they could be as much as 24 hours old. The Happening Now link is more reliable.

The point is, though, that it says 'added today' not just added, which is the wording for a brand new quiz and includes the name of the editor who put it on line. The quiz had been online for several hours when you played it so well outside the 20 minutes required for credit.

Thanks for the reply, and I do understand that, but it does seem to have caused a lot of confusion for other people too which might bear being investigated. Perhaps a quiz could be put on the Happening Now link at the same time as being put online if that's possible? Never mind, I shall try for another one! Thanks anyway.

I'm pretty sure that new quizzes are posted in the Happening Now link as soon as an editor accepts them. I'll remember to check next time I put a new quiz online.

I don't think you're unsympathetic at all, but it does seem to have happened a few times. I swapped this one out and have now done the one that replaced it so no harm done! Thanks for your help anyway

The main difference I can see is that the editor's name appears in brackets in the 'Happening Now' feed, which denotes it as a brand new quiz. Checking for earlier plays is another method of working out how new that 'new quiz' is. Also, the time it has been online is shown to the right of the title, in minutes when a quiz has just been posted.

That's useful to know, I shall keep a note of that for the future. That did work - I have just played another new quiz (coincidentally yours!), I was the first to get 10/10 and the usual message came up. I shall bear that in mind for next time

There is one home page option that shows quizzes as they come online - sometimes there is a minute or so delay, but it's usually very fast. Maybe that would be the right option to use when you have that challenge.

Any remedy for when a Daily Challenge is "Play 2 new player-created quizzes that are added to FunTrivia today, scoring at least 50% in each" and there are none?
