According to https://www.funtrivia.com/pointstoday.cfm "The top player will earn the very-difficult-to-get Endurance challenge." But the Challenge description says "Requirements: Score at least 30,000 points in a single day playing quizzes and games on FunTrivia".

Which is correct? (If the top player only has 25,000 would they still get the badge? Or conversely if more than one player scores more than 30,000 points would they both get it?)

The requirements changed a couple of years ago but the description didn't. It used to be the top 1 person in a given day (assuming they didn't already have the badge). When they added the upgrades they changed the requirements to be 30,000 for tier 1 and higher scores for higher tiers.

By the way, at the time we switched it over, the 30,000 requirement was very close to the same as being the top player - about 70% of the days, one (and exactly one) player had a score of 30,000 and up.

Thank you both for the information. I was working on an EPIC daily challenge Sunday to be within the top 10 scorers and I noticed the possibility of also getting the Endurance badge, but wasn't sure which the actual requirement was. At the time I asked the question, I was second but had less than 25,000 points, so wondered whether it was worth trying. After seeing andymuenz's response, I decided not to go for it. (I did get the EPIC challenge as fourth highest points.)
