A reduced write-up so I can catch up.paper_aero was running on default fuel this week.Due to covid, various teams are based away from their home grounds.This round we went 102/135 for a strike rate of 75.55%.We had a three weekly winners this round with 6/9 and one spoon was awarded for 5/9.No position updates.

What a wild finish it proved to be, wwe84 was 4 points clear after 17 rounds but finished with 4 spoons in the final 6 rounds, paper_aero took over the lead with 2 rounds to go but finished default and wooden spoon so these two finished off the podium. Dizart was leading by 2 points going into the final round but it was gtho4 in 5th place that proved to be the biggest threat with a weekly win that drew him level at the top. It went down to the tie-breakers and both Dizart and gtho4 had a +3 weekly win/wooden spoon differential but in the end the title went to Dizart with 4 weekly wins to gtho4's 3. Howie72 was lurking in the back part of the season but could not put enough pressure on and finished third. Congratulations to those on the podium in 2021 - Dizart, gtho4 and Howie72. This makes 4 podiums in a row for Dizart.Questions posed at the end of last season have been answered and in brief - N-Bomb was beaten, Sypher took home fewer than 10 spoons, one Australian returned to the podium and I was not able to keep up with posting the results.Spoonless streaks
N-Bomb - sitting at 47 plus 2 this season so ends his streak at 49.
LeoDaVinci - sitting at 32 plus 10 this season so ends his streak at 42.
paper_aero - sitting at 18 plus 21 this season (one default not included) so ends his streak at 39.
gtho4 - sitting at 20 plus all 23 rounds this year, his streak continues at 43.
Howie72 - sitting at 9 plus all 23 rounds this year, streak continues at 32.Thus ends the 2021 season and as usual there are questions to be answered in 2022. Will Dizart be able to make it 5 consecutive podiums? Will George95 go a whole season without running on default fuel at any stage? Will covid-19 have any affect on the season? Will I be able to keep up all season (most likely no)? Will I be able to think of other questions after posting this (most likely yes)?Melbourne Demons beat Western Bulldogs by 140-66 in the Grand Final.
