- One bonus point for perfect picks.
- Default is equal to the wooden spoon score.
- If a game goes into golden point, the final AET result will be used for the tipping comp (same as NRL comp).
- Ties - Podium placings will be decided on HoF/WS differential and then, if equal, total HoF awards (and then total number of bonus points, if required).

2020 paper_aero Sypher N-Bomb ------------------------------------------------------------- Toronto Wolfpack withdrew from the comp in July 2020 for covid-related financial reasons and applied for readmission in November 2020. The SL board voted 8-4 against readmission (one member abstained). They were replaced by Leigh Centurions, who last played in the Super League in 2017 (they lasted one season). The other applicants were Bradford Northern, London Broncos, Featherstone Rovers, Toulouse Olympique and York City Knights (there was no relegation or promotion at the end of the covid-ravaged 2020 season). The SL season usually runs over 29 rounds from early February to early September. This year's comp starts later for covid-related reasons and has been truncated by four rounds. The first round of the 2021 tipping comp kicks-off on Friday 26th March (same weekend as the first F1 race for the year). The comp ends after 25 rounds on Thursday 16th September. The defending titleholder is paper_aero. N-Bomb has finished on the podium for the last six seasons.

Welcome to the 15th running of the Super League tipping competition .. paper_aero is the defending titleholder while N-Bomb will try to make it on to the podium for the 7th year in a row.
In 2020 we had 13 runners, which was the 6th consecutive year with 13. This year everyone's back except for PaulE, making it a field of 12.
Toronto Wolfpack withdrew from the comp in July 2020 for covid-related financial reasons and applied for readmission in Nov 2020. The SL board voted against and they were replaced by Leigh Centurions, who last played in the Super League back in 2017 (they lasted one season).
All six games went to plan except for the last one, where Castleford upset the favoured Warrington. We had 8 winners with 5/6 and the remaining 4 all collected a wooden spoon with 4/6. This means we start the campaign with eight leaders and four in equal 9th place.

A weekend of upsets saw three of the six games won by the underdogs. We had weekly winners with just 4/6 (the lowest so far this season). The rest of us collected a wooden spoon each with 3/6 .. that's 9 spoons in one round, which filled up all the blanks in that column except for one: Llynfi is now the only spoon-less player.
We still have one blank in the winners column: wwe84.
The first four retained their spot from last week.

The first eight are now spearted by 4 pts (it was 5 pts last week). From there we have a gap to the four players at the rear of the field .. they're separated by a single point.
Would someone like to run this comp for the remainder of the season? All the tipping threads are up, so it's just the weekly results post. I've got one too many comps on my plate and will have Euro 2020 as well next month.

LeoDaVinci wins sole honours for the round, missing only the loss of St Helens, while 3 of us take spoons.
Note to Llynfi: I let you have the Warrington game as a "gimme" point. You didn't bold either team, and I didn't know if you meant it as a draw, because you generally mention a "draw". A round filled with surprises I guess....Wigan lost their first match of the season (but it was picked by 4 of us here). Leeds thrashed Castleford, while Wakefield surprised Huddersfield, a result that only wwe84 picked here. Leigh Centurions continue to remain the last team searching for their first win of the season.
A bunch of us took the round's honours, while ww84 made it 5 spoons in 8 rounds... A break for a week now.

I kept waiting for the 2 matches to be over before posting results, only to realise the next round of matches were done too  Llynfi filled the last gap in the spoons column and wwe84 continues his hot streak of spoons as 3 of us took spoons and the rest of the field took the honours....

Another fun 4-match round where we all picked the Catalans-Leeds match that wasn't played, and we dropped the Wakefield-Castleford match which was played... 3 solo picks ensured those 3 guys take the round's honours, while the rest of us take a spoon, our sole point coming courtesy Hull FC (or Leigh Centurions if you like it). wwe84 filled the last blank in the HoF column of our table.

Another round where I was waiting for a match to be played and realised it's not listed anywhere in the fixtures We at least had 5 matches this round, and a bunch of us picked 4/5....Dizart and ozzz2002 take the spoon with 2/5 and Dizart takes a tumble, LeoDaVinci defaulted and as a result he tumbles down too....no solo pick bonus in this comp otherwise paper_aero would have got one for his pick of the Wakefield win...Leigh Centurions continue to provide us all with a majority of our points!
