Another fun round where all those lodging picks ended up with a colourful name on the table. Only 3 matches were played, and in these 3 too, one was actually deemed as "forfeit".
Huddersfield became the second team to forfeit a game in 2021 when their match against Castleford was cancelled on 4 July. Huddersfield announced that they were missing 20+ players due to COVID-19 and injury, but as the number unavailable due to COVID-19 was less than the minimum seven absences required for the game to be postponed under the RFL COVID-19 protocols, Huddersfield had to forfeit the match as 0-24. We had 5 picks for Castleford and 6 for Huddersfield and as it wasn't a "postponed" game, I let the 5 get their point.

There were 2 more postponed games, but we had a 4-game round this time. ozzz2002 and gtho4 take the spoons while the rest of the field find their names in the honours list. Llynfi has a massive HoF-spoon differential, and for others to win this, they need to do it outright now.
I just read that more games are being postponed, and that the season itself maybe in doubt. Can those in the knowledge of things throw more light please? Will the rest of our season continue in this same fashion with 3 or 4 games?

Once again only 3 games in the round (the Catalans-Hull KR game was for round 13), and Sypher and George95 take full advantage of it with a perfect round. They picked Huddersfield to win at home against Hull FC and it paid off.
On the other hand, ozzz2002's Salford failed to upset Leeds on the road. Sypher has now made it a hat-trick of wins here, and has slowly climbed up our ladder into podium position now, with a very healthy differential to boot...
Round 16 again has only 4 games as 2 more games have been postponed.

On 27 July Salford announced that they had postponed their next 2 games against Hull KR and Wakefield, due to COVID-19 issues, leaving us once again with a 3-match round. Perfect round bonus points for these 3- and 4-match rounds are beginning to make a difference in our standings here, making it a little more interesting. We are all playing musical chairs each round now....wwe84 completes the bonus point column with his first such point, and Llynfi pulls ahead of N-Bomb now into a clear 2 point lead.

It was nice to have 5 matches in a round after a long time. Four road teams won, and Leigh continue to be the cannon fodder for all teams. The pressure of leading proved too much for Llynfi to handle here, and he kindly stepped aside for N-Bomb to take back the lead. N-Bomb did it in some style too, with a perfect round and a bonus point to boot. wwe84 also preferred to go back to the cellar after one round out of it...

Most of us surprisingly picked St Helens win at home against leaders Catalans, while Leigh continue to score us all points.
We once again had a 5-match round, and N-Bomb pulls further away from Llynfi, who, with a second consecutive spoon, has also allowed gtho4 and Dizart to catch up with him. Sypher and paper_aero are also just another point behind now. ozzz2002 has a perfect round, and he goes past the defaulting George95 now.

Leigh Centurions finally won a game! They ended a 16-match losing streak to beat Salford Red Devils on Sunday. Maybe the season should be stopped now and the championship awarded to Leigh 
The Catalans-Warrington game was postponed and Hull FC won a very narrow game against their rivals Hull Rovers. This was the only game where we were all divided here down the middle, and it decided who among us gets the winners' medals this round.

Two matches went into overtime and at least one of those results probably cost some of us crucial points here. St Helens lost at home to Catalans via overtime, while Leeds won against Hull FC. Llynfi and wwe84 take the round's honours while Sypher and ozzz2002 take the spoons. Llynfi is now into 2nd place with a better tie-break score and 2 rounds to go....the ball is in N-Bomb and Dizart's court now

Leigh pulled off a second win for the season, while Sypher was the only one of us to pick the defeat of Catalans. This effort earns him a 6th consecutive entry into our weekly winners/spoons columns (2 wins and 4 spoons).
But with just the final round remaining, the more interesting and fascinating battle is right at the top. 3 people are jostling for the podium positions. Llynfi seems best placed to take the title if it ends in a tie. gtho4 has again slipped back to bronze medal position, while N-Bomb will have his own ideas on how to pull this off. He's famous for these Houdini acts anyway  Dizart and paper_aero are right up there too, hoping to land a medal should any of the top 3 slip. ONE round to go

As widely expected (by me at least), our resident Houdini has pulled off another great escape! Despite missing the first game, N-Bomb takes home the title on one outrageous pick. Llynfi would have won this if Salford had lost to St Helens, as picked by 10 of us here. gtho4 would have won this if he had simply managed to land the weekly winner score, no matter what it was. Instead, we have our title machine N-Bomb pull out yet another rabbit from his hat of endless tricks, to add to his title collection. Congratulations and well done to the podium finishers
srini701 will regret the 2 rounds he missed, but walks away with the final weekly honours, while ozzz2002 signed off in a blaze, with 5 spoons in the last 6 rounds. Catalans Dragons take home the League winners' shield, and a place in the playoff semifinals along with St Helens, while Wigan, Leeds, Warrington and Hull KR play the elimination playoffs.
