gracious1 Prolific Registered: Tue May 01 2012 Posts: 1749 Loc: New York USA	I've noticed a couple of really great changes, and it also occurred to me that we need a thread for this sort of thing since they get lost in the "minor issues" (which are really problems/complaints). I like the new plusses (+) in the category names on the Quiz home page. Very handy. But even better... I just played a photo quiz, and for the first time ever, I am seeing the pictures in the results page!! No more having to go back and forth between the answers and the questions in order to understand a question, particularly when talking about the details of a picture. It's interesting to view the site from a fresh perspective and ask myself what could be better.

(or is it wip)" Yes... quiz popularity is now a new factor in quiz list orderings. This popularity determination is time-adjusted, so the system determines on a "per year" basis which quizzes get the most interest. The more historical interest a quiz has drawn per year, the higher up it goes in the list. This will also help give more visibility to quizzes that have been used in badges, challenges, etc which will generally have more plays. New quizzes are the exception to this. Quizzes introduced over the past year or two will hang around the top of rankings. Edited by Terry (Mon Jun 28 2021 04:18 PM)

Just had one go online and when I went to the link for it, it took me not to the "index" page of the quiz (the one with the chart and the introductory information, edit quiz link, etc.) but directly to the quiz itself. And that looks like a hybrid between the "playquiz" page (the one with "playquiz" in the path) and the "index" page I've just described. So, is that intentional so that when people click on photo quizzes they immediately are taken to the photos? _________________________ (*)> / ) /"

The chart has always already been accessible from the Scores page for each quiz already. On mobile, the more bric-a-brac that shows up before the player gets the the questions, the busier it is and the more they need to scroll to get to the actual quiz. Depending on how the quiz is accessed this may be knowable, but today I had a daily challenge of play 18 of the following quizzes, so I couldn't tell which ones I had played before (and I wanted to make sure that I played the ones I was going to get points for first.

It is very pertinent if you have a Daily Challenge to play a quiz with fewer than 100 ratings, for example. I can't remember exactly what, but if there's too few then a chart isn't very meaningful so it isn't generated.
