Is something stuck with the New Questions game? Usually, questions are rotated out after 250-350 times, but lately all my questions have been over 400 times, and now 500 times. By this time, I have seen many questions, not just by me but by other people, multiple times. 500 times seems a bit excessive; they are no longer new questions at that point, and the "blind" ratings system is moot as the author is known.

If a correction is sent in on a question, it gets returned to the pool after editing, even if no change was made, because it could be significantly different, and need to be reassessed in the game.

The bigger issue is we have run out of "new questions". It starts recycling those with fewest plays once this happens.

Terry, if we have run out of New Questions, I will happily do what I can to help and start writing more. But I must ask, if there's a shortage, then why do I have questions still waiting to be edited that have sat there for weeks? I only have room to write a couple more.

Not-Terry here, but it's going to be reliant on the queue. In some of my categories, there are questions that have had back-and-forth with specific editors (so I'm not going to touch them). In other categories, there are editors who have had to deal with unexpected occurrences off-site.

We're getting to queues as fast as we can within reason, as usual. Frankly speaking, there's not a single single question queue that has more than 5 submissions right now. Questions are getting edited.
