I've really enjoyed playing the quizzes on site and creating my own, so I thought I'd suggest a list of the highest ranked games, and perhaps a list of games which have been ranked highly, but not played many times would make the site even better!

A small thing, but I found it confusing that there is the glasses icon by 'Best of FunTrivia' on the members screen, even though the thumbs up icon represents these editors' choices.

And it takes me forever to find TV programme and movie quizzes in their A-Z format. Could there be an option to search by genre, like there is in their mixture sections?

Oh, and one final question. My 'UK Universities' quiz is languishing in the General>UK Specific sub-category, but (I think) since I wrote it, a World>Colleges and Universities sub-category has appeared, which I think would be more appropriate for it. Who can I ask about moving it?

Thanks for the great site!

The categories used to be grouped like that. However, there were a LOT of movies and programs which could fit into any number of genres and there were a LOT of discussions on which the correct genre was. In each of the genres, the categories were sorted by alphabetical order anyway. It was decided that it would be easier to just make the quizzes grouped by alphabetical order and cut out all the dicussion/different opinions.

I'm curious as to why you say it takes you forever to find quizzes on the A-Z format? It should be easier - you know a title of a show, you go to that alphabetical category. If there are many quizzes on that show/movie, they will be listed by clicking on, for example, Movies then A-C and then on the show. I don't see how that takes forever or even shorter when it was grouped by genres (Movies, then Comedy, then the show) and this way there are not 10 different categories the subject you want to play can be in (Was it a comedy or horror?)...

It takes me forever because instead of thinking of the title of a show, I browse until I find a show I'm interested in taking a quiz on. I know which type of shows I tend to watch, so categories would be handy for me. Having shows with fewer quizzes grouped under their initial letter makes sense, but it takes longer to search through them all.

But I see you've thought about this in the past, and thinking about it, if I knew the title of a show I wanted to look for, the present system would be much better.

Most of the categories that have quizzes under the initial letter don't have more than one page... we usually wait until there are at least 3 quizzes on a subject before making a subcategory for them.

And I understand what you mean by genres - it's just that we've found them to be more trouble than they were worth. (You don't know how many discussions we had - not just between editors and quizmakers but between editors... "It's a comedy!" "I didn't find anything funny about it...")

And then some players would look in 3 different categories before finding the show they wanted because they thought it was a drama, yet we put it in comedy...
