One of our team's players is locked out with a message 403 saying Forbidden. The username is rubytops
Please can someone look into it urgently. Thanks.

Rubytops unplugged her devices as suggested by a member and can now access the site on her phone but still cannot access Funtrivia on her laptop or iPad.

I've just sent Ruby a note asking her to try resetting the router and going through that process again - and if it still doesn't work to try it overnight. Some ISPs reallocate unused IP addresses during low peak times so she may get lucky that way. Otherwise this may be a case of waiting for Terry.

One of our more active (and well-liked) members has disappeared, and his details are showing as 'that user is no longer active'.

I don't believe he would have opted out without letting us know, which leaves the probability that he was toasted. I don't contest the right of FT to cancel the membership of someone who has transgressed the guidelines, but it would be helpful if the team leader at least could be given a heads up on what has gone wrong. It would also be an opportunity to provide a cautionary word to fellow teamies, to ensure they don't make the same error.

According to records, player Alan1521 closed his own account in September.

There's not much to remember if you do not want to get banned:

- Do not cheat.
- Play only one account.
- Be reasonably polite and do not insult anyone.
- Respect other players and their privacy.

Note that it is very rare to get banned for inadvertent or negligent violations of the ToS. To get banned without a prior clear and specific warning will require a significant intentional breach.

We do not discuss the specifics of why players get banned or leave - if a player wishes to disappear without prior announcement or saying why, that's their decision. This is both for privacy reasons and to protect our games.
