Hello. I have a quiz that has been played 30 times, yet it never seems to get ranked. Do you know why that might be? It's under Literature under Jane Austen, and it's called RR's Northanger Abbey. Thanks, Robyn

Robyn, it all depends when the 30th playing happened. Rankings are updated each Monday, TF time. I just played it for you (I am NOT a Jane Austen fan, as you can tell by my woeful score, hehe), but see what happens next week...

I had a quiz that I thought would never get rated and it had been played 30 times, but then I realised it said at the top that quizzes were only rated once they had been "rated" 30 times, rather than "played". So maybe not everyone who played your quiz gave it a rating, Robyn.

hmmm, good point, fringe. Maybe I should have not tried to second-guess the rating system ?

A quiz has to be played 31 times for it to be ranked. After that, quizzes that have a good first rating, generally end up having a mediocre ranking after being played about 100 times. Vice-versa for a poorly ranked quiz played 31 or so times.

Hello--it DID get ranked after being played 32 times. Thanks, all. I still have 2 quizzes that will probably never be ranked. Each has been played only 16 times. So those of you who love Anne Tyler and/or Elizabeth Enright, come and play 'em!

Don't feel too bad Robin...I have about 100 quizzes that have yet to be ranked...a couple that have only been played in the single digits after over 6 months online. Eventually....they will be ranked...
