I just played a quiz, and to my surprise, I saw the arthor's name in the top scores! I saw this in a few quizes that this arthor has done. How is this possible? If more information is needed, I can give it.

There are a few of those quirks around. It happened a few months back when Terry was rewriting the code for Quizzyland. If I remember correctly it lasted for a few days, and was then corrected.

There was a brief period in which this was possible (and I scored 0/10 on one of my quizzes as a result!) It seems to have been completely prevented now, though.

Yeah - I was testing one of my quizzes so I didn't hit any answers - scored 0/15 on it! But then Terry fixed the scoring so you can't play your own quiz for points anymore.

I've done it recently, because someone mentioned a problem and I hadn't even looked at the quiz in ages...I tried it and in the old days it wouldn't have accepted my score, now, it does. I'll enter various possiblities. Terry has often said he's done the same thing while testing.
So as I wish to reproduce the conditions of a quizmaker exactly I often take them. If someone tells me that they put the correct answer and it registered as wrong for example.
It has nothing to do with wishing to up my score as for me, this is strictly for fun.
Another thing that happens is while editing you need to take a person's quiz though you know little about their subject...and you might find a reason that the quiz isn't scoring properly...therefore your score is really low in your own subject area!
I've sacrificed myself for the sake of knowledge many a time on my co ed's quizzes or else a quizmaker asks me to take theirs and I'll go do it and get a terrible score.

Ooops, Ladymacbeth, I think it still does accept the scores.
I'm going to go check it out.
Still, it doesn't really matter if it does or it doesn't.
