Australian Open 2022

Novak Djokovic got a special "medical exemption" and will be defending his title when the first Grand Slam event of 2022 starts in Melbourne from Monday, January 17. Naomi Osaka will also be defending her title. N-Bomb will have a tough time as well as he tries to defend both his titles from last year. A bunch of us will try our luck to gun our "FT tipping comp title machine" down wink

Please await the main draw links and post your entries before the start of the second round on Wednesday, 19 January (11 am Melbourne Time).

I must disagree, LDV. He is a known anti-vaxxer, and does not seem to have learned from catching the virus last year, infecting several other players and associates. If he does not want to follow the rules, he should not be getting any special treatment. Johnny Depp and his illegal dogs should have been evidence of that.

PS- Count me in, too...

What is he going to do? Bring the virus into the country when it's already running rampant all over? Anyway, he's never said whether he's been vaccinated or not...

I'm not saying he isn't an idiot.

Wasn't the first Omicron case one that was already there? Unvaxed aren't allowed in.
