Have you ever noticed how respiratory problems, (allergies, asthma, flus and bronchial infections, etc.) proliferate during the winter? There’s a host of individual factors, but the the overall components are this foursome: contamination, containment, concentration, and contact/communication.

A couple of things to add, to keep you healthy:

Wash your hands often.

Hands are the #1 spreader of germs, and the medium that gets them into our bodies. EX: a sick person coughs into their hand, then uses the phone. You use the same phone 5 minutes later. While you are talking, you rub your eyes- the germs have just entered your system!

Start taking 1000 mg of Vitamin C a day now. Also, if you don't already take a multivitamin, now's a great time to start. And as soon as you hear so much as a rumor of cold/flu going around, start taking Echinacea twice a day.

Make sure you eat healthy foods, drink twice the amount of water you have been, and get enough sleep- a run-down body is more likely to get sick.
